Preskil Beach Resort heeft alles in huis voor een ontspannen, maar ook voor een actieve vakantie. Er zijn twee zwembaden waarvan één met kinderbad, een tennisbaan en een fitnesscentrum. Laat u verwennen in de spa of ga een van de vele wateractiviteiten ondernemen als windsurfen of duiken. De 200 comfortabele kamers bieden afhankelijk van de ligging rust of juist wat meer levendigheid en u beschikt tevens over gratis WiFi. Dit deel van Mauritius is in verhouding nog redelijk onderontwikkeld en rustig. De enorme lagune wordt beschermd door koraalriffen, waardoor dit het beste deel van Mauritius is om te zwemmen en snorkelen.

"Honeymoon"

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon booked through secret escapes, this resort did not live up to the rest of the honeymoon. We were unable to upgrade due to the hotel being fully booked which is fine, the lagoon room we did have however was tired & dated but the main issue which caused us much discomfort and annoyance was the bed. A metal framed 4 poster with a thin mattress that was about as comfy as sleeping on a concrete floor, this was however not the main issue...we could not even sit on the bed and scratch your elbow without it squeaking. This became a real issue when we tried to sleep as every time one of us rolled over or moved during the night as the squeak would wake us both up. The issue was reported to the reception desk on 3 occasions and I was assured they would send maintenance to fix it - they did not fix it so we spent a week with very disturbed sleep. The rest of the hotel was ok but we had paid an additional £650 to upgrade from half board to all inclusive but many drinks and food options other than the buffet dinner were extra on top, so more money spent. We went to the BBQ theme night and we're charged an additional 1200 rupees per person and actually it really wasn't worth it, there was a choice of chicken, beef or sausages and some salad & jacket potatoes....you get more choice in the main restaurant buffet. This could be an amazing place but a lack of attention to detail and a poor response to customer issues let's this place down. A week in this place was more than enough.

"Very Good Hotel, Amazing location."

Reading some reviews before we arrived we wondered if we would find hotel a bit run down, So we were very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. Really bright and comfortable with amazing sea views, we were just opposite Tapas restaurant. The room was great as was our Maid Uma, she kept room spotless always topping up bathroom accessories and even filled our kettle every day, She was Excellent. We found rest of hotel very nice also no signs of anything run down, 2 lovely pools very nice beach areas, split into 3 parts so something for everyone, lovely clean turquoise waters with small reefs for snorkelling just off the beach. Sea views are amazing hotel sits on its own little Peninsular, so you get the feel that you are on a small island. Hotel staff are generally Very Good, some are Excellent. Without exception we found the Managers in the Bar & restaurants to be very hands on and very good always checking that everything was okay. Food in buffet restaurant is good and found it very good in both A la carte ones that you can book in advance. We were all Inclusive & found the drinks & food selections were good, Only slight gripe was the constant need to sign for everything sometimes this slowed up drink service in buffet restaurant and when you wanted to leave sometimes had to wait to sign the receipt, same in the Indigo bar everytime you ordered you had to get a receipt to sign. But this was only trivial thing and nothing in the grand scheme of things. All in all would thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. Good selection of Free water sports also and glass bottom boats & Snorkelling free in afternoon and I think the water Skiing was also free. Wifi was pretty good also, lost connection sometimes but was generally reliable. Its Very close to Mahebourg ( Bus stop or Cabs at front Gate) and people go in on Mondays for the Market, but really its 95% Fruit & veg and no real souvenir or clothes stalls to mention and not much more in surrounding streets, so we were back very quick. But you can get buses to other areas from Mahebourg and you will find Taxi's there that will negotiate better rates than hotel Taxi's.

"fantastic food and activities, musty room"

We stayed for one night and I would have been happy had I not been offered a ground floor room. The room was quiet humid, there was a smell of mould. It took more than an hour for me to be reassigned rooms--to a less expensive but one floor up room. The food was amazing. The freshest I have seen in Mauritius. The snorkeling and canoeing on the bay are great.

"Superb location but something's missing..."

This complex tries to exude luxury and charges accordingly but the fact that I am still waiting for a bucket of ice to be delivered to our room by the Room Service team should tell you why 'something's missing'. Preskil Beach is literally 10 mins from the airport and with minimum airplane noise, means you can be there in next to no time. Guest Relations give you the impression that 'nothing is too much trouble' but in reality its wrong hence the expression - the tail wags the dog! A bathroom light taking 48 hours to be repaired (despite a fault card being filled in). Mini-bar and towels not being replaced each morning. Not what was expected and a real disappointment. An excess of staff in the Spice restaurant and Indigo bar should mean you never having to wait for a drink or table to be cleared / set. The truth is too many staff walking around chatting to each other and not focusing on the customer or the job in hand. Have been to other countries / resorts were the people are far more engaging and friendly. Like everywhere there are a few exceptions and the following 3 people stand head & shoulders above the rest of the hotel staff. Jean-Denis on the Beach staff was friendly, attentive and quick serving drinks and snacks. Melissa in the Indigo Bar stood out and actually was very efficient at her job. Finally Arvesh in Evening House Keeping was truly exceptional when it came to caring about our stay and ensured we did actually get our bathroom light repaired and our complimentary mini bar topped up each day and all other room issues. Way beyond his remit I suspect and an individual from who 'Southern Cross' - the hotel owners, could learn from regarding good customer service and relationships with guests. We came here for our 15th wedding anniversary and while the location is superb, you should get better for your pennies. The hotel is @30 years old and the decor shows this but that adds a quaint character generally unsupported by lack lustre service. Such a shame...

Review title describes exactly what I wanted to say ... This review Write almost exactly a year after we've spent the Nasu dream holiday in this beautiful krajine.Asi it's also good because I had a very long rozdychavat what we experienced in this hotel and we've honestly never experienced for a long time and we thank God already traveled piece sveta.Nebudem disassemble everything accordingly ... In short: Very old worn hotel that necessarily needs a complete renovation, especially the rooms that are in a catastrophic state, and in terms of hygiene, a small LCD TV is simply incorrect, Hrdzave chairs, a huge hole in the air-conditioned ... Personal woefully training needs, particularly lower and middle management ... It is very good as long as it is personal smiling sweet, but even in the event of a crisis, therefore, In case the guest solving real problems is not enough, pchat head in the sand when troubleshooting is not legally professionally not, namely a maximum neprofesialne !!! Well it was a picture of everyday personalu that do not ensure either that for what we paid for. Food that was something to which I was reconciled to the end of our stay just one major disasters, selection, and overall assembly in the range of dishes buffet restaurant was horzny, the only plus was the visit ala carte restaurant I will not be here to write an essay debt, or disassemble the details of our stay because it would there were a long time and I do not have more appetite to deal with this hotel. The owners would be simply to reflect on how they want to operate on the hotel because it's a big but great pity such neprfesialnym leadership dehonestovat this means, the beautiful which this hotel will always be there. With us this potential turmoil killed !!! It is sad especially when that man knows of professional point of view to assess myself totiz years posobilk in the art. Mauritius certainly be once visited, but never never again this hotel !!!
