"We would have loved to stay longer"
This was our treat at the end of a 14 day camping trip. We arrived late afternoon and had to leave very early the next morning to get to the airport for our flight to Cape Town. Our room was lovely with great decor. There is Wifi in the rooms but we got better reception sitting by the fountain in the courtyard drinking a lovely drop of wine. There is a restaurant with a very good looking menu. Unfortunately we didn't get to sample as we had already arranged to meet friends at Joe's Beerhouse which is at the bottom of the road. As we couldn't make breakfast the staff organized breakfast bags for us to take to the airport with us. Very thought and thanks for our lovely (too short) stay.
"A good first night in Namibia "
We stayed at Olive Grove on our first night of our self drive tour of Nambia. There is secure parking and our room (top floor luxury) was very comfortable. A large bedroom and bathroom with a lounge area. It is uniquely styled which gave us an insight of what to expect during our stay in Namibia. The breakfast covered all nationalities and the menu gave us useful information about Namibia. We also popped in for lunch on the way back to the airport (unannounced) but everyone was very welcoming.
"Relaxing one night stay"
After a long and tedious day of delayed flights and border issues I was so grateful to finally be able to relax and unwind for a night before heading off on a 3 week cross country driving safari. I arrived late and the kitchen was closed, but they were very accommodating and saw to it I had a good meal prepared. The room was close and easily accessible and very welcoming. It was slightly dated, but it really just added to the charm and old world feel of the place. Breakfast was hot and more than I could have hoped for. They even fixed a small meal and snack for me to take away as I headed out on the next leg of my journey. With that sort of attention to small detail who couldn't love this place. I will definitely stay again when I'm back in Windhoek.
professionalism and love for hospitality which you can see in every detail, making this place a perfect stay. a special thanks to the kitchen which beside the luxurious breakfast, are serving a first class dinner which you would not expect in a guest house. my next stay again.
We stayed for one night in this lovely guest house and also ate at their amazing restaurant. The food was a fixed menu of the day that was delicious. 300 per person 3 courses, and it was delicious! We would also recommend a night because the rooms are just perfect! Carefully prepared and decorated. For more tips about Windhoek follow us on Instagram @AlexAndBabiTravels
