"This hotel is very nice everything done first class"
This hotel is well done, everything in the room was done to a very high standard. I was pleasantly surprised! they were very busy and seems a bit overwhelmed, but it was not a problem. The hotel is convenient to city center but a walk of about 15 or 20 min, recommend a car. The highlight was the quality of the hotel and its fixtures. Pool and Gym, Gym was mostly tread mills. Worth staying here in my opinion.
"A wonderfully relaxing night"
My wife and I stayed at The Lodge while on a Collette Tour and it was wonderful. The scenery and the restaurant were amazing. This was one of the most relaxing nights we spent on the trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our overall stay in Jackson Hole, WY, as a result of it.
"Pricey lodge in beautiful location"
I was here for a conference last Fall. While the location, especially the stunning Grand Teton mountain views, was awe-inspiring, I thought the actual lodge was a tad overpriced. While the food and services were fine, the overall lodge facilities did not warrant the hefty price tag for a few nights at this resort. Frankly, I was expecting the rooms, the food and other facilities to be slightly more up-scale. This said, I would still recommend the place....especially for large gatherings.
"Three Stars, but nothing more"
I'm not sure how this hotel gets such high ratings on Trip Advisor. There is nothing particularly wrong with it, but I feel like its website, pictures, and the reviews all over-sell it. The Lodge offers decent value at $189 a night, but you clearly get what you pay for. This is little more than a fancy motel. The service was a bit surly; the rooms are dark; the gym and pool are nothing special; and the lobby/dining and bar facilities are unremarkable. Also, the distance to the town site is a bit of a nuisance. Looking at a map when we booked I thought we could walk, but in the winter the sidewalks of Jackson can be quite treacherous. There is a handy shuttle bus, and the drivers are great, but I would prefer a location where I can walk out my door into welcoming and interesting surroundings. The Lodge, however, is located on the side of the highway. I don't have any real regrets with our stay, but that was only after I got over the initial disappointment with the Lodge. I did this trip with a ski buddy so the facilities serves their purpose, but if I was going to return to Jackson with my wife and indulge in a nice hotel, The Lodge would not be my first choice. Instead I would book the Hotel Jackson, which we checked out while poking around the town. More expensive, but as I said: you get what you pay for.
"A Cozey Place Between The Town and The Mountain"
My husband and I recently spent a week (early January after the holiday rush) at the Lodge at Jackson Hole and would do it again. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room with a king size bed and sitting area was roomy and great to stretch out and enjoy the space. The breakfast room offered a nice hot and cold buffet daily. The pool and hot tubs were nice to have and you had the option to either be inside or outside. Work out room is a little small but is sufficient to keep your exercise routine on track. If you stay here there is public transportation (bus) which stop right by the hotel to take you to the Teton ski area. Cost of bus $3. You can easily walk to a few places near by to have lunch or a casual dinner. Plus, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the square in town where you can have a broader choice of dining options. It is a great value. Oh yes, they do have a small spa and massage therapist on staff. Make a reservation as they book up. There are only a few places in town that off this amenity.
