We stayed (with our three year old) in a large room with a king bed. There was room for the kidlet to run off energy and it was clean. There were busses on the street outside our room, but we travel with a Dohm machine and that eclipses most noise. The staff was cordial and the halls and common areas were nicely decorated. The location was the reason we chose this hotel. For a reasonable rate, we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We walked to the wharf - several piers. We rode cable cars to shopping all over. We paid to park and the parking was covered and secure. It was nice to be able to park so close to the elevators and bring our bags in. Because we had a vehicle, we were also able to drive to other parts of town to see some of the amazing museums, shoreline, and restaurants. It was worth the money to us. We would certainly stay here again.
This hotel is walking distance to one of San Franciso's tourist attraction Fisherman's Wharf. The room size was not the best however very clean. The staff did not care to talk to you and where more focused on just checking you in and out. The hire car company at the hotel was very handy and the staff working there were much more eager to help. Not a hotel that I would return to but overall not a bad stay considering the location.
"efficient corporate hotel"
Our king room a bit on the smallish side, but decently appointed with the standard amenities. Floor above with the overhang are roomier. Room attendants very good ,but sometimes a bit erratic on the times of freshening. The biggest plus is the location , with the wharf, grocery stores, food ,all close by. This was our second stay here and will probably look for something else next time. Kind of a been there, done that thing , and it's certainly plenty expensive enough for what it is.
"Will Not Retun"
We stayed at the Sheraton Fishermans Warf on 2-18-17. We arrived a couple hours before check in and they allowed us to check in early which was nice. We had asked for a King size bed when we arrived, as they put us in a room with two double beds. We were told they had oversold King rooms by 15 but they had one Queen room available. They have two separate buildings for the hotel and we were placed in the building across the driveway from the lobby. Our room was on the first floor in the corner. While the room was clean it was one of the smallest rooms we've ever stayed in, smaller than our Master Bedroom at home. There was a very small alcove with a chair to sit in but it was wasted space as you couldn't see one another when sitting. They advertise the most amazing beds ever, so much so they offer to sell them. We had a horrible nights sleep on this mattress. They advertise a firm mattress with a pillow top and there was no pillow top, and the bed was like a rock with a spring mattress. The pillows were not much better; flat and not supportive. Our room was very cold upon arrival and we turned on the thermostat on the wall and waited for warmth as indicated by the sign on the unit. We ended up having to turn the unit on manually on the actual HVAC unit and after a few attempts of turning it off and on, due to a terrible whirring noise, it quieted down. The thermostat on the wall never did work. As the room was so very small the HVAC unit was so close to the bed, you could barely get out of bed. They had Starbucks coffee for the coffee maker which was very nice and the regular amenities such as shampoo, lotion and conditioner. Unfortunately, there was no ventilation in the bathroom so it made for a very steamy shower. When we checked out they didn't tell us we would need to keep our key to get out of the garage. There was no way to contact anyone at the desk to lift the gate. Overall, not a great stay and don't ever plan on coming back to this hotel.
"Great Hotel in a Wonderful Location"
My wife and I stayed here on a vacation trip to San Francisco. We had a great time. Very close to Fisherman's wharf, Pier 39 and Little Italy. Not too far from downtown. Tuesy and Shon were exceptionally nice when I checked. I am a Gold member and they made me feel special. I would certainly stay here again when on vacation.
