Montréal is een dynamische stad waar oud en nieuw heel goed samengaan. Er is een grote keuze aan theaters, chique boetieks en warenhuizen. Belangrijke bezienswaardigheden zijn het Mont Royal Park, het pittoreske Vieux-Montréal en Parc-des-Îles. Geniet er van de aanstekelijke ‘joie de vivre’!

"Least expensive, very nice!"

We took the Amtrak train from NY to Montreal & needed a hotel within reasonable distance from the Amtrak station. Most hotels were in the $250-$300 range. We found this gem of a hotel that was $100 less than the others. Nice accommodations & very clean.

"Great Location - Clean, Comfortable"

Excellent location in Montreal. Very close to the Bell Centre and Concordia and McGill Universities. Room was pretty large and complimentary toiletries were high quality. Staff friendly and helpful. No parking on-site was an issue

"Construction Site"

Great suite-had a balcony and we had wonderful weather so enjoyed the outside area. There is construction going on so you can not park (even temporarily)outside the hotel...really challenging to register. The parking lot is before the hotel on a one way street-so make sure you park first. Lugging our luggage to the hotel was not pleasant-but the staff were very nice. Great location for shopping and the Bell Centre.

"In the heart of downtown"

Not the fanciest hotel downtown, But i bet the most helpful !! We ended up staying for two nights due to the Hurricane going through Miami !! Small rooms, but very clean !! I would stay there again in a heartbeat :)

"Executive Management...Open your eyes!"

I was excited to visit Montreal for the first time however our stay at Best Western Europa was a disappointment. The staff was less than accommodating and very cold and unfriendly. We rented the one and only suite which included a kitchenette fully equipped with a dishwasher but no soap to wash the dishes and not enough dishes for us to use. When I asked for soap to wash the dishes I was told there was none (no dishwasher soap in the entire hotel? The staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them anytime we asked for something...which wasn't often. When I requested more dishes to use I was delivered plastic forks and 3 Styrofoam plates. The stove didn't work and the pullout hide-abed didn't have proper bedding, sheets or pillowcases (cases for pillows were given to us on day three). One day, housekeeping completely forgot to clean our room. On the third day of our 4-night stay, we woke up to a loud horn blowing starting at 6am til 10am because apparently staff at the hotel were protesting to Management about working conditions. Well now the very poor customer service all made sense, Alas there is more! The hotel does not offer parking (even thought the lot in the back of the hotel says "Hotel Parking" it cost 30$ a day and offered in and out privileges, but on the 3rd day, our vehicle was boxed in. three rows of cars blocked us in, When I asked to have the vehicles moved so that my kids and I may go to the museum; I was confronted with a bad attitude and given fault for inconveniencing the lot attendants for having to move the parked cars all around us. When I defended myself for paying for a service (30$ a day) that permitted in and out privileges, I was immediately asked to leave and never park in the lot again (was offered a full refund which never transpired). How was this my fault? I even encountered a housekeeping maid who when I asked if there was a service elevator to the suite which was on the 5th floor and was only accessible by stairs; my father who is a stroke patient needed disability accessible to the suite to visit us found it hard to access. The maid said...I don't speak English...in English. One day later I was in the elevator and the very same maid stopped our elevator going down and asked me...in English..."Excuse me, is this elevator going down?" Seriously??? I thought she didn't speak English? You staff lack basic customer service skills and don't seem to care at all about the guests that stay in your hotel. This tarnished my impression of Montreal thinking that people in this city are uninviting and are arrogant. Therefore, my rating for this hotel is 2/10
