Hyatt Regency is gunstig gelegen in het centrum op loopafstand van het oude centrum en dichtbij een metrostation.

Montréal is een dynamische stad waar oud en nieuw heel goed samengaan. Er is een grote keuze aan theaters, chique boetieks en warenhuizen. Belangrijke bezienswaardigheden zijn het Mont Royal Park, het pittoreske Vieux-Montréal en Parc-des-Îles. Geniet er van de aanstekelijke ‘joie de vivre’!
Great place to visit! keep in mind when booking that they are in the middle of a remodel, we in countered noise from a chipping hammer in one of the rooms above us! We were aware of the remodel at booking. We will definitely be back for another stay in the summer months.

Got a newly renovated room at the Hyatt on my last business trip and OH WOW! I adored that room... cozy and comfortable. Very high end and up to date decor. Near lots of great places to eat and shop too.
"Terrible Customer service / receptionists"
My wife and I went to spend our anniversary there last month. Starting off with the check in, there was only on lady helping around 8 people check-in before us, we had to wait 30 minutes. The lady seemed confused, pretty new in her work. I asked them to upgrade to a suite and she said the hotel was full and all suites were occupied. As a Hyatt Gold Passport member, I opened the application on my iphone and showed her that there was more that 5 suites available and still she refused to give us a suite. We accepted our room, my wife and I walked in a room to find a couple in bed! This was disastrous to both us and the guests in the room as this has never happened before! The receptionist seemed ignorant to a point that she assigned us an occupied room. We usually stay at the Fairmont QE and at the Sheraton Montreal, our only regret was trying the Hyatt Regency Montreal. They really need to work on the front desk staff and their operations. This chaos will result in guest other than us never staying at the property again.
"Avoid, for good"
Hyatt Montreal official webpage mentions "Chic accommodations" and "its contemporary design and is a constant favorite of business and leisure travelers". It is none of these things. Webpage fails to mention, though, the fact of renovation works in the hotel to warn potential guests. I booked the room, checked-in and inside the room I found the letter, informing me of renovation works (w/o any mention of specific time). I was awakened at 7 in the morning by extensive hammering right below my room. I addressed front desk clerk and he confirmed they should start at 7am, but he was surprised I can hear anything and insisted I am in a quiet zone of the hotel, despite what I told him of my experience. He called front desk manager, which refused to come out and just passed the message to me that he was already on my 15th floor recently and it was quite there. They also refused to move me to another room. When I got back, immersive sounds of industrial drilling were ready to greet me. It was SO loud, I could not stay inside, so I got my coat and returned to front desk. I insisted to meet front desk manager and he was absolutely indifferent to my discomfort. He confirmed they deny to move me to another room, granted me access to lounge instead, so I could work. It was clear hotel staff would not help me, so I booked a room in another hotel from the next day and stayed in Hyatt for just one more night. On the morning, about 6-15 they started to move some tools on the floor below, hammering started at 7am sharp, followed soon by industrial drilling. I packed as soon as possible and returned to front desk to meet William, the very first person from the front desk, who was actually disappointed when he realized how bad it is up there and bothered to show some sympathy. He called guest relations managed, she started to ask me some questions, and this is when front desk manager appeared again. He just asked if I found a new hotel. Guest relations manager lost interest to the conversation and went back before we even finished speaking. Front desk manager face expression was direct opposite to Williamâ€™s and it was "Will you get out already". During these two days he never bothered to apologize to me, at least once. When I departed, William took off my breakfast and room service charges. Not sure, if they will bother to refund 2 nights, which I did not use. Obviously, renovations in this hotel will end someday. But attitude of senior management will not change. If you wish to be treated as a valued guest and, actually, as a human being, look elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels in just 3-5 minutes walk from this one, if you eyeing this particular location. I am travelling a lot for the past 10 years. I never stayed in Hyatt before, I wanted to have Hyatt experience this time. Well, now I got it, for what its worth.
I stayed here with my husband who had meeting in the hotel. Unfortunately, l came down with the flu. I could not get any rest during the day due to impact drills in the next room. The provided earplugs were a joke.
