De wereldberoemde Niagara Falls komen in bijna elke reis naar het oosten van Canada voor. Het woeste watergeweld dat u van heel dichtbij kunt zien vanaf de 'Maid of the Mist' is dan ook spectaculair. De watervallen worden gevormd door de Niagara rivier, die tussen Lake Erie naar het lager gelegen Lake Ontario stroomt. Ze bestaan uit de American en de Horseshoe Falls, de laatste zijn het grootst en liggen aan de Canadese kant.
"Expensive but worth the view."
I selected a room with view of both falls knowing that it would be expensive. The view was worth it though the room would have been nicer if the floor area was a tad larger. The beds had very thick base and mattress which were comfortable but difficult to climb onto due to the height. Anyone of short stature may have to consider using the Fosbury Flop when going to bed. The one bad mark I shall give this hotel is that it does not have a coin laundry. Service was excellent.
"Rooms were disappointing "
We have heard many great things about this hotel. Considering the great reviews, and location, we booked our two night stay here at the Hilton. While the overall hotel and amenities were as expected, the room was not. For a hotel rated 4 stars, I was at least expecting them to be clean. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with Canada/us fallsview. When we walked in there were about three to four large red stains on the carpet. The door to the toilet was broken and you could not lock it. The shower door would not close all the way. When we notified the front desk, they said the only thing they could do about the stains were connect us with housekeeping. This I found to be unacceptable as a four star hotel should not be allowing its guests into a room that is not up to its standards. We should have never even seen those stains in the first place. The maintenance guy was pretty fast and fixed the glass shower door, but the door to the toilet remained broken. We stayed at a holiday inn express and a Hampton inn in Quebec City and Montreal that exceeded the standards of this hotel. Needless to say, next time I will be staying at one of the other neighboring hotels instead of this one.
We booked a double king suite on the 46th floor with a falls view. it was amazing! so beautiful. it had a great view of the fireworks as well. it was walking distance to many of the main attractions and the kids loved the water slide. There are restaurants in the hotel, but they are very expensive. We had the breakfast buffet included in the room, but i would never pay full price for it! its your typical continental style fare that usually comes free at a holiday inn. The staff was helpful and very friendly, and we got the room cleaned each day. i would definitely recommend staying here!
"Wonderful hotel in Niagara Falls"
Hotel is in a great spot. We asked for an upgrade and we were given a room with falls view free of charge. We parked our car and walked to the falls, restaurants and stores. Casino is across the street. Our room was clean. Falls view from the room window was beautiful. Concierge in the lobby helped us with registering for a 3 1/2 hour sightseeing tour. The buss picked us up in front of the hotel. The tour was a lot fun. Great weekend trip.
"Refused pay back refund"
Even though Hilton Niagara Fall is very nice establishment. When I arrived at the Hilton there was error in my reservation date. Instead of correcting the reservation date. They told me to cancel the date, knowing that there were no rooms available for that day. Therefore I had to make reservation at another Hotel. Then find out that the Hilton still charge me for the room as penalty for cancellation when I return to home, poor customer service. I can finish survey when I haven't experience anything good at Hilton in Canada.
