"Modern hotel in a great location"

The location cannot be faulted and there were many restaurants and bars nearby though I didnt explore them as I only stayed for one night and it was way too cold for us to venture out. The restaurant had an amazing view of the whole Quebec area and it was lovely. I understand the hotel is newly renovated, and it shows. It was clean and modern looking, with some quirky elements and I really appreciated the many cables made available in the room for our use with all sorts of electronic devices we had. The room was also spacious, which pleasantly surprised me, given that I'm used to expecting small rooms in city areas. Now to the slightly bad. My room had a very very awkward view as I had full view of the swimming pool and thus could see people in their bathing suits swimming and them looking up at me while I looked back down at them. Also, the water in my sink tap came out very cloudy and I asked for the technician to come up.I guess this is a long standing problem because when I went down to the reception, all I said was the water is cloudy and the lady immediately replied with "the sink, right?". When the technician came up, he simply turned the tap lever all the way to the hottest mode (where the water that came out were slightly less cloudy), and then told me to use this mode to get my water. I was kinda freaked out and felt unsafe, so for the entirety of my stay there, I used the water from the bath where it was clean and non cloudy.

"Location, Location"

A perfect spot for a short visit in Quebec City. A 5 minute walk to the old city, the Plains of Abraham, and some hidden gems in the backstreets. The gym is very well stocked with different equipment and a great view over the city. The reception being on the 3rd floor and trying to navigate between all the various elevator/escalators is a bit of a pain.

"It's a Delta"

Great views and modern, this hotel is situated in the heart of the downtown core. A few blocks off of the old town, it is the perfect place to be for both business and vacation. The rooms are alright. Nothing spectacular. But why would you stay in them for long when there is so much to explore in Québec City. The staff were kind and courteous and had a sense of urgency which is lacking in a lot of hotels these days. (Especially after travelling for long days). One poor thing is the hotel's arrangement: getting to the reception can take a while because of the elevators (cannot carry luggage on the escalator) which there are two (one for business floors and the main entrance the other for the hotel's floors). The other issue is the layout... I just don't like it. But they make up for it by having all inward facing windows within the hallways point towards and open up to the outdoor pool.

"Clean, and ok, has room for improvement"

The Hotel is very well located in the heart of the city very close to the old city. Not sure if you can walk there but alas close. The room was clean and I would say a bit dated, but it was maintained. Beds and pillows were comfortable. For its price point, the room was average at best. Had two issues with this place: 1. Parking, it's paid so either park yourself or valet, ok that is expected it's a downtown major hotel. What I didn't like was the setup. When you pull up to drop your bags they force you into a Valet for your bags. The entrance is a floor below the lobby. So you drop your bags and take a couple of escalators up to the lobby to check in. I did self-parking and they didn't give me the choice they said valet for the bags. I parked the car we checked in and we waited and waited and waited for our bags. At this point, it was a long day for our 5-year-old and we wanted our belongings so she could go to bed. I called a few time and eventually, I went down saw the bad still there and took the bag of my daughter's things. The elevator to the parking lot is a separate one and when we left I did not use their guys I did it myself, I was the only one rolling bags across the lobby but I was not waiting we had a long drive home and I wanted to get going. 2. The staff was very neutral, not friendly and not helpful. Not rude just indifferent. They seemed annoyed when I was impatient for my bags and valet almost stopped me from taking it. This was a last minute booking literally booking it as we entered the city and I was able to take advantage a special rate, I wouldn't stay here again as if I would have had to pay the regular rate.

"Wonderful hotel"

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful, kind and made us feel welcome. We arrived very late and were greeted by the staff and they got us in our room quickly. The room was lovely. Because of the weather we ate most of our meals at the hotel and were very satisfied with the service and the food. I had a chance to meet Rejeanne Guimond, Front Office Manager and had a nice conversation with her. We've stayed at many hotels around the world and this one ranks very high in our opinion insofar as staff, accommodations and food.
