"Large rooms, great space"

Will start with customer service - great! From the front desk to the club room to the nice note left in my room to welcome me, I always enjoy returning to this location. The hotel is clean, large lobby area. There are only two elevators to the rooms, so have some patience if the place is crowded. The rooms are quite large with some having a separate seating area, a few even have a central table with seating for four. Depending where your room lands, the bathrooms vary in size, from very small with little counter space which can be annoying if you have a long stay, to very large with lots of counter space. I would say the showers need some more storage so more than a bar of soap can sit in the there. The club room is large, lots of seating and accessible 24 hours for soft drinks and coffees. Breakfast is continental and gets you going. The happy hour choices are not as varied with a cheese plate and a veggie plate, then a different cold salad and hot choice, but not a wide variety. The club staff are very accommodating and helpful, and once they know you as a regular guest, they take care of your every whim. The location is right next to the conference centre, and there is not much in the way of entertainment along this route, but it is a walk away from alot, whether heading to Old Quebec or central town, especially on those spring and summer evenings. The bus routes are also very convenient, and the stops are just outside the hotel.

"Good food"

Hotel restaurant surprisingly good. Charcutrie plate excellent. We had access to the lounge on the 12th floor which offered a complementary breakfast(mostly cold buffet except for scrambled eggs and oatmeal),soft drinks and snacks until late evening and a cash bar.Great view from windows there. Heated outdoor pool in below zero temps should be on your bucket list.Rustic sauna also a plus. Many peewee hockey teams stayed here but we noticed no problems.

"An Average Stay for Carnaval"

Stayed at this hotel during Carnaval: Pros: - good location for getting to Carnaval events and restaurants on St Jean st. - access to underground tunnels that brought us closer to where we needed to go without walking out in the cold - room with renovated washroom; deluxe king room was a good size - room was clean - when we requested items from the front desk, they were brought quickly - hot chocolate provided for Carnaval in the lobby Cons: - very dry air in the hotel - service while adequate at the front desk was not overly friendly/helpful - with the lobby on the third floor, you get hoodwinked into having your bags carried which means "guaranteed tips" for the attendants at the front door - washroom had no fan

"Great location"

The Delta hotel is a comfortable option to stay in Quebec City. Ideally located close to the Old Quebec. Rooms are very spacious specially those located in the corner. Delta now is part of Marriott so you can earn points when booking here

"Close to Carnival, Very Clean, Nice In/Outdoor Pool"

HOTEL: We stayed with our kids at this hotel for the first big weekend of Winter Carnival. It was a very short walk to the carnival exhibits. The place has a very nice heated outdoor pool that was unfortunately closed for certain hours in the morning when we wanted to use it. There is one main restaurant right next to the main desk which is quite nice. If you have a car, I would recommend paying for the valet. While I never used the valet, that parking covered in/out privileges for the entire stay. We had an issue with water not draining in the tub; and were quickly moved to another room on the same floor. Within 15 minutes, I had keys delivered to my door and all my stuff moved. That small issue aside, I would say the hotel was super clean and comfortable for our stay. I used the courtesy computers by the main desk to print my boarding passes free of charge. I was able to purchase my Carnival Effigy at the hotel desk and was given a lot of great advice can instruction for quickly getting around. I would stay here again for business or personal travel. RESTAURANTS If you want a few great places to eat I would say: Café Paris: Just walk toward old Quebec along Grand Allez and it is on your left side. It was family friendly, reasonably priced; and had a lot of selection. We had my son's birthday breakfast there and lunch the previous day. Antique building with a lot of character Cosmos: Walk in the opposite direction of the carnival along Grand Allez and this place will be on your left. Unlike Café Paris, this place is new and modern. While this looks like a dimly lit lounge, it is quite family friendly. We found the menu was also quite reasonably priced with a lot of selection. Other advice for carnival visitors: dress warm (seriously, pack gloves, scarf, hat), drink alcoholic beverage caribou, talk to the nicest people you'll ever meet, meet Bonhomme during the posted times for selfies, take a drive out to the ice hotel, visit Laurier Mall.
