"Visiting Maleisia"

The resort is very hard to find.It was by accident that I saw it on the other side of the water. We had help with our suitcases and were brought across the water by boat. The explanation about what there was you could do was poor and the chalets were okay.Sealing in bad room very moldy,so it could do with a little bit tlc. We did the trip to the oerang Asli people.Very interesting although it was a steep klime what they did not tell us up for hand.It was more expensive as it was only the 2 of us,but it was worth it.I did also the Canopy walk.I enjoyed that very much, quit hard though as it is a very steep klime. We had food in the restaurant but had to wait almost an hour before we had it.We were not very impressed about the staff and did not find them very friendly. When we asked what happened with our food he looked at us as if we asked for something out of the ordinary and his answer was,"they preparing" ..after almost an hour? How long will it take to fry a steak ?As we checked out, somebody put our luggage in the lift and that was it.No more help, not with the luggage and not with the boat down stairs. No we are not very impressed by the whole experience and will definitely not recommend it.

"Excellent place to experience the jungle"

We really enjoy our stay in this Mutiara, Taman Negara Resort. The scenery and nature was fantastic. Lots of birds, insects and a very friendly hornbill in the resort. Even the frog near our chalet was cheerful. We stayed at the private bungalows with a great outdoor area and well furnished. The accommodation is comfortable for my family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The staff were incredibly professional when handling with our booking. Breakfasts included were nice, the atmospheres of the surrounding place in whole were quaint and comfortable enough. Food at restaurant is nice, also easy to access into floating restaurants nearby and book for any jungle activities. One of the must do activity here is the canopy walk. We also did a night jungle trekking, rapid shooting and boat ride to Lata Bekoh. Our tour guide was very professional and has depth knowledge of the forest. Most of them from nearby village and were friendly too. Overall, a very pleasant experience, we will definitely head back there again next time.

"Taman negara"

I went with my family on 14th January 2017, Accommodation is Good, but we get only continental food there. The jungle night walk is a total waste, they showed us some scorpions and spiders. But the boating experience was wonderful. overall experience: It suits for Europeans’ and the youth who loves trekking. Its quite far from KL, from the airport the driver said it will take 4 hours, but it took 7 hours to reach.

"A must if travelling to the taman negara"

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in this type of vacation, if travelling up to the park this hotel has reasonable prices, very good staff helpfully and the only restaurant in the area that has a bit of western food. I recommend it without hesitation

We recently stayed here for 3 nights during a 3 week trip around Malaysia & it was excellent accomodation. We were in Chalet 42 which was a good size and always very clean, with good air con. All the staff around the resort are very friendly. It was January so be warned - it's rainy season! The food at the hotel was very nice but quite expensive. We ate at the floating restaurants mostly as it was much more affordable. Breakfast is OK - be warned there's no pork! It's in a great location where you can just walk in to the jungle. We did our own walks but also booked tours with the hotel. The guides were excellent. The 3 hour day tour is quite a hike, there's a lot of steps, but it's worth doing. We've been to the jungle in Thailand too and we saw much bigger animals there, but this was still a great experience. The guides know lots about the local flora and fauna. We saw lots of monkeys around the hotel. Visiting the Orang Asli village was a highlight - very interesting and worth doing. A chap at Mama Chop booked us on to an evening 4WD tour, which actually takes you around the palm oil deforestation rather than the jungle (didn't realise that when we booked). We saw a few things - slow loris, barn owl... but I probably wouldn't recommend it unless you are looking to fill an evening. It
