The resort was very well laid out and was a fantastic place to stay overall. Large enough to provide a host of experiences be it dining, water sports, beach activity or just chilling by the pool or on the beach. The staff were very friendly and would go out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. The suites are very spacious and we had a wonderful view of the beach and sea from our bed. Room service was prompt and overall there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The resort was kind enough to accommodate us with a late check out at 1730 since our flight was at 2130. Great resort for families and couples alike since there is a clear demarcation of adults only areas.
"Would go anywhere else"
Spent here more than one week, food/cocktails and service needs to be improved. BBQ on the beach has continues issues with quality and service. (Music is very limited with about 10-15 track playing all day.) Beach is nice, the adult section is extra cost. There are different types of restaurants within the hotel what needs to booked in advance. (E.g: Italian restaurant, waited 25mins for a starter!) Book somewhere else if you have chance.
"Disappointing at first but management made it memorable"
We decided to spend New Years at the resort and arrived on December 27th. We were greeted with a cocktail by hotel staff and cold towels to freshen up upon arrival. We were then shown to our room, which was amazing, and went to find the bar. The bar list was a very short and there were about 10 cocktails on the list, but thankfully the barman was up for a challenge and attempted to make any cocktail we could name from memory. Sometimes more successful then others, but fun all the same. We found booking restaurants very difficult as they had a very poor booking system, which started on Sunday at breakfast officially, but if you were passing at the right time on a Saturday you could jump the queue. Booking less then 48hours in advance was difficult. The Italian Restaurant was disappointing and felt more like microwave ready meals then proper meals. Yet other restaurants such as Lime were exceptional. Our favourite restaurants where Lime & Madame Ming, with Riviera and O' Beach being a close 3rd & 4th respectfully. The street food vans, were not really restaurants, but were interesting at lunchtime for a snack on the beach. We had a couple of issues with little things at the hotel, but once we raised these with the rep, and ultimately the hotel management they went out of their way to make our holiday memorable. The food and entertainment on New Years eve was amazing, from a selection of food that was impossible to sample everything, as they did food from every restaurant, and country of the world, you really had a choice of anything you wanted. To an amazing firework show on the beach to celebrate the end of 2016. We would love to return to the resort in the future, and would consider taking the whole family in a few years when we have children as there was plenty of things to keep the little ones occupied during the day. Some of the things that I think the hotel could improve upon would be a wider selection of cocktails and mocktails at the bars. As well as more ice-cream. I think this was the first all-inclusive holiday that we have been on in recent years that did not have an easily available supply of ice-cream. Unless you wanted to pay-per ice-cream from the mini-bar shop, which was a distance from the beach and pools. The pools were spotless, and a pleasure to use. The downside was the typical rush for sun beds, and people would place towels on them in the early hours and then rarely use them during the day. After mentioning this to management they did start to move towels that were un-attended for a couple of hours to free them up, but this was towards the end of our trip, and hopefully something that will continue. The spa was very nice for treatments and my wife and I both enjoyed a massage during our stay, but the steam room was vile. There was a overpowering stench of mould and damp in there, as there was little or no ventilation, as well as large wall tiles missing from one wall. In fact I think it was in need of serious renovation. While the sauna appeared to be newly refurbished. Hopefully the steam room is next on the list.
"Something for everyone"
3 of us stayed here for 3 days all inclusive in jan 2017. This hotel is set on beautiful grounds but is massive. There were no lifts to get our luggage between floors so we had to carry them up the stairs which is fine if you are able bodied but not so good if you are not. We stayed in rooms 1230 and 1223 which were modern, clean and contemporary.. But a good 10 minute walk away from the pools/beach/restaurants etc. The beach is nice but absolutely crammed with sun beds...the pools on the other hand were beautiful and had plenty of space between sun beds - it really felt like a private pool it was so quiet. We ate in the a la carte madam Mings on our first night and the o beach on our second night - both were sensational. On our last night we had booked into the Italian restaurant. The staff were excellent and didn't stop all night but the starters were really dry and the quality of the main course pasta dishes were really disappointing. This restaurant is a victim of its success and the quality was comprised on the night we dined there. Overall this hotel is really good value for money. There is something for everyone.
"Nice and beautiful hotel with good service"
Everything worked out how it should!Rooms were clean and tidy. Food was tasty and there was a lot of choises. Loved J-Tabas' streetfood at lunchtime! Special thanks to paying attention for the childrens activities and food. There is nice pool and playground for the children. Hotel has also great gym with good air-condition! I recommend couch Jesson's abs-class!
