"So happy to stay here!"
This was one of my favorite hotels in Vietnam. We stayed here after four days in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. I was so happy when we arrived! The staff were extraordinarily helpful in travelling to the hotel from the train and making our way to the nearby airport. The resort is beautiful. Don't miss the breakfast or taking advantage of their spa!
"Luxury Vietnamese Style "
Wonderful location just outside Hue with free transfer to and from Hue. Relaxing large hugh spec accommodation and room features..large bathroom, lounge /bedroom and balcony with rocking chairs. Restaurant provides delicious breakfasts and evening meals catering for all tastes. Morning activities of Tai chi and yoga. Excellent sized swimming pool and facilities. Could not have asked for anything more! !
"Laid back luxury at an affordable price"
Excellent throughtout, lovely room with spectacular bathroom, balcony with sun lounger and rocking chair, view towards swimming pool and surrounded by trees - you could sit for hours listening to the birds and believing you were in the middle of the rainforest. First class service
This is a wonderful resort set just outside Hue. The staff were amazing and constantly looking to enhance your Vietnamese experience. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was excellent. Our room was set at the back of the resort with beautiful views across the lily pond. Very peaceful and enjoyable stay. Loved it!!
"Balinese Style In Hue"
Just returned from a couple of weeks touring Vietnam and the Pilgrimage still lingers in my memory. This is the real deal all the way, as there is nothing being overpromised here as with so many hotel descriptions and reviews these days. From when you are truly greeted upon arrival to sincerely wished a fond good-by when leaving everything here is top notch. On arrival, we were upgraded to a king bungalow which is even more beautiful than in the hotel pictures. When we had a bit of a problem with the very quiet AC were were quickly moved to a Honeymoon Suite which was the same as the first room but with the addition of a private plunge pool. We encountered no issues with our stay other than the AC freezing up as mentioned. The breakfast is an eight on a scale of ten in world-class breakfast buffets. There is food nicely displayed that will satisfy the pickiest travelers as well as chefs cooking eggs and other hot foods. We met several nice couples while staying here who I would say are sophisticated global travelers. The main pool, again even better than the pictures, is as good as they get for quiet lounging and for lap swimmers. The size is huge without being garish as I have seen in some all-inclusive type hotels. While the hotel is a ten to fifteen-minute ride outside the main part of town they provide a frequent luxury shuttle ride to and from downtown. Cabs are also very inexpensive, just a couple of buck to downtown. So don't let the location sway you away from the Pilgrimage. Many of the travelers we encountered here used this as a splurge hotel sandwiched around the less expensive places so common in Southeast Asia. I chose it because the picture and description reminded me of Bali, and I was not let down. We were given a coupon for a free drink at any of their bars and when we went to the piano bar we were the only people there and got a private piano show from a very accomplished young Vietnamese woman, again memorable. When we were leaving checkout was fast and simple. With a Japanese manager, who is terrific were were sent off with a Japanese style good-by and promised to return again some time. I hope you chose it and I hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we did!
