"The best retreat for couples!"
This is truly the most relaxing place I've ever stayed. We arrived a little earlier than expected but were greeted with fresh tea, biscuits and a wet towel to cool us down. We stayed in a bungalow along the river and as as we walked in our eyes lit up with amazement. The place was huge, and luxurious. The location was out of the way, but still close enough to reach the town and sights via the free minivan ride into the town centre. We had a very minor problem with our room, which didn't bother us at all, but just to make it up to us, we were upgraded to the luxury suite with a private pool! I couldn't believe it. The place is amazing, but it's the staff that makes pilgrimage village the best. Miwa, the hotel manager, made us feel so welcome and relaxed, and as we had just come from Japan, we had so much to talk about, she is such a lovely person. It was a great experience and when I return to Vietnam, I'll definitely will be returning.
"A fabulous place to stay"
The Pilgrimage was great! The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. the food is good, and the pool is probably the best hotel pool I have ever used. The hotel is perfectly situated outside of the city, close enough to visit, far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.
"Peaceful and tranquil"
We stayed here half way through our trip and the entire stay was delightful. Even though it rained the two days we were there, except for the day we left...we still felt like we were in paradise. The operations manager is one of the loveliest ladies we have ever met. The spa treatments were divine, and the pools are amazing. Even though it was cool, we still went for a swim on tje day we left. The pool was the most swimmable pool i have ever seen. There is a constant array of staff upkeeping the venue. There is a shuttle bus available to get into town. The piano bar was a really lovely place to enjoy happy hour. The food was really good too, and a buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Although the food and drink were pricey compared to other places in vietnam, it was still great value compared to Australia - and wonderful quality. There are a couple of cheap restaurant's across the road, super cheap and still good food. Plus there is a little shop across the road if you want to grab some cheap drinks and snacks. Pilgrimage Village is a tranquil delight
"Cool and inviting retreat from hectic Hue"
Located 10 minutes away from downtown and the Perfume River. It is comprised of numerous 4 unit buildings , 2 up and 2 ground level. A couple of nice bars and a very good restaurant. Surrounded by greenery and meandering walkways , it is very peaceful and serene. The hospitality hostess Miwa was very friendly , vivacious and helpful. Free shuttle to downtown or take a Tuk Tuk. The rooms are Very large and cool with marble everywhere. The bathroom was larger than our homes front room!!! Wonderful experience!
This was truly the best place I have visited over the past few months. We stayed in a 1st class bungalow, and it was beyond anything I expected. The place was quite big for a couple with about three living spaces separate bath ( 2 people bath ) and our own pool. Location of it was also good, it took only 15 minutes to get to the center of the city and the route was fairly easy. The rooms were cleaned twice every day one big cleaning in the morning and more casual bed preparations in the evening. Also, it was lovely how they left a bedtime story every night and lit up aromatic candles after every visit. The two public pools, billiard table, restaurants and the sunny weather was enough to keep us on the resort all day. However, as one can expect the pricing for the food and drinks on the resort was expensive, but we found a lovely place to get some snacks and good food just across the road. As for the staff, they were very polite and kind. Especially Operation Manager Miwa, a Japanese lady who welcomed us as we have known her for years. Without a doubt will come back to this or one of their other resort on my next trip.
