"Very hard beds"
Good location, large room but cannot sleep. Hardest bed ever...keep waking up with sore hips and shoulders. Very tired each morning. Give it a miss! Very busy during the day so need your sleep. Decent breakfast...good omelettes but stale croissants.friendly staff.....but need toppers on beds. Ikea where are you....open in Vietnam!
"Perfect location "
The best thing about this hotel is the location , most things are within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms were fairly good , always clean and maids always changed towels etc Breakfast was decent , however the staff were not very good or friendly with the exception of the egg/pancake guy he was brill, never once did they come round to see if you wanted a refill of tea or coffee. The door staff were always very friendly and had a smile for you: however the main thing that led to the 3 rating was the staff on reception ....: they were so uninterested in anything , extremely unhelpful and anything you did ask them was a massive chore/effort. When we asked for a place to shower before our flight all we got was floor 3, no explanation or anything as to where it was , we assumed we were looking for a room which is fairly standard in most hotels however this was just a toilet with a shower which was next to the gym and most the gym users were using it so was hard to get into and use, it was so hot and the floor was so wet it was hard to shower and dress in the room. We had to hunt hi and lo to find this shower as we had no idea what we were looking for. In hindsight we should have booked the room out for extra time but this was an expensive option. Overall good location but let down by staff
"Great central location "
Excellent hotel in the centre close to quality shops and sights of Saigon Excellent buffet breakfast catering for all tastes The hotel has undergone an extensive upgrade and proved very comfortable and modern
"Room is smell"
location is good in city and convineint to shopping mall. staff are freindly and nice. the problem is only romm. which we book for Non-smoking and when we walk in the room. we smell with smoke and we wait for room change almost 1 hours.
Stayed here recently for four nights. On a afternoon arrival we were shown to rooms. The room was very nicely furnished and clean. My husband opened the cases and decided he wanted to iron a shirt ready for later. As he plugged in the iron there was an almighty bang he was thrown back and the plug was sparking with flames leaping out. I ran to my husband who now had a burnt hand. We immediately rang reception they sent a boy up with a new iron?? Really!!! My husband had just been electrocuted!! I demanded a manager and first aider. The duty manager promptly arrived and was very apologetic and said he would move us immediately and close this room off. We said our friends were opposite and they need to be moved as well. I also said the least they could do was let us have dinner for tonight which he did seem reluctant. At first I felt he wasn't taking this serious enough. He said he would be back. It seemed a long wait and I was very angry at this point. I went downstairs and began to take photos of their hotel certificates in reception making it quite clear that under universal health and safety I was taking this matter all the way. At this point the duty manager returned and said I've spoken to the general manager and he couldn't give us dinner. I was like your lucky I don't sue. He said no madam I have a better option we will move you and friends to executive rooms with use of the lounge and the benefits. I accepted this and we were moved immediately also that night there was an apology letter and a tray of Belgium chocolates. I do feel there should be some staff training when things like this happens. However aside from this episode the hotel is very nice in a great location. As a traveler it has made me realise that you can't take safety for granted in any hotel worldwide
