"A Good Location"

   21-10-2017
This hotel is in a good location to the river, markets and the city centre, the buffet breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of food. The room air conditioner was very noisy (like heavy rain on the roof) which was the only negative from our stay.

"Noisy Air Conditioning. Some nice staff"

   17-10-2017
My hubby and I spent 4 nights at this hotel. We were very disappointed with the room we were given. It was on the 5th floor, very little natural light as our small window faced a wall and room smelt very musty. First request to change rooms was denied by reception staff. It took me going down to reception in person to explain how unhappy we were with the room to be changed to the other side of the 5th floor to a room with a larger window. Rooms are certainly very outdated and the a/c is very noisy and not that cold. Pool is small but ok. Breakfast was excellent. Door staff and check in staff lovely. Cashier not so much. Great central location.

"Very nice hotel but building work ongoing next door"

   16-10-2017
Good stay here for three nights during our tour of Asia, hotel is in amazing location overlooking the main square which is lit up at night. Only downside is construction work next door was a little annoying as started early and finished late. The hotel did apologise and guess nothing they can do. Facilities were good outside pool was amazing and gnvery well equipped. Breakfast good plenty of choice. Rooms nice and with city views.

"MAKES FAULTY TOWERS LOOK LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL"

   15-10-2017
We arrived to a lush and opulent hotel frontage that on the outside looked very lavish but the beauty was only skin deep. We carried our own suitcases up to reception and proceeded to book in. We mentioned our name and after looking us up on the system the attendant said "ahhhh you booked with Agoda". We said yes and he proceeded to tell us about our room and the motel then told us our room doesn't come with breakfast. Everywhere we stay we book with breakfast and The Saigon Prince was no exception and when booking we defiantly booked with breakfast. I screenshot every step of the online booking process and showed him but he stood firm on the breakfast not included thing. Oh well, well get some sleep and eat out in the morning i thought. We made our way up to our room and what greeted us was more like something out of a horror movie. We walked in and put our bags down and immediately noticed the room and how shabby it looked. The curtains were ripped, there was a rather large vomit stain on the carpet, there was no lighting in the ceiling with all the lighting is supplied by a couple of small lamps and overall cleanliness of the room was very poor. The whole room smelt of smoke and was very overpowering at times as people in other rooms smoked and the smell came into our room from the air conditioning vent. The next morning we were woken early by workers on the other side of our wall jack hammering and drilling into the brick. We left it thinking it may have been a one off but again the second morning it started again. We spoke to reception and they said they would look into it but again the next morning the demolition noise started again and continued for the remainder of our stay. The night before we were leaving we went and saw reception and asked if the jack hammering could start a bit later the next morning as we had only had about 4 hours sleep every night of our stay. He said he will look into it and there won't be any more noise in the morning. GUESS WHAT!!! The next morning it started again. On the last day of our stay at the Saigon Prince Hotel we were overcome by a very heavy chemical smell that was so overpowering it made my wife vomit. We had headaches for hours and left the room soon after this happened. If for some silly reason you make the decision to step into the unknown then i would also recommend taking some really good ear plugs with you. I understand that staying in a big city you will encounter a lot of noise but our room faced the street and was very noisy. Don't expect to get to sleep before 3 to 4 AM. Overall it was an extremely disappointing stay and we defiantly won't be returning to The Saigon Prince Hotel.

"Disapointed "

I come for more than 10 years in this place ! The room are now old, bathroom very old, food has nothing special, service is poor, price is not worth ! If you ask for an express coffee for breakfast they charge you now ! You order tea, you get coffee And the place is very noisy being in center of city with poor isolation !
