"Really good four star hotel located in a vibrant area of Hong Kong."

This is a very convenient, well run hotel in the Causeway Bay section of Hong Kong. Modern comfortable rooms. The hotel staff is superb - friendly and accommodating. Transportation is excellent: It's located about a 4 minute walk from the Tin Hau metro station on Causeway Road, which it makes it extremely easy to get around Hong Kong. The Hong Kong trams also run on Causeway Road. What's also good is that it's located in a mixed use, gentrifying area of Hong Kong with lots of good restaurants and food and convenience stores. The business center of Hong Kong, where many hotels are situated, lacks these amenities. There is a roof top pool with breathtaking views of the city. Highly recommended.

"Good location, Below average service"

Chose this place because of its proximity to public transportation (Tin Hau station) and the rather quiet neighbourhood. My friend and I chose a double bed room. Extremly tiny room with barely enough space for the two of us to walk around. The bathroom was cramped as well. Couldnt access the pool as it was mostly closed by the time we reached the hotel after a day of exploring HK. It is not very close to most of the touristy places like Disneyland or Njong Ping 360. However with the Octupus card handy, it was easily accessible. Starbucks and a number of other options are nearby. The breakfast was pricey so we decided to eat from the numerous options around. Staff - Not particularly impressed. Expected better service by standards of a country like HK.

"Overall Good Hotel"

Stayed for 5 nights / business trip. Very nice hotel and good room with wonderful view of the bay 20th floor. Very clean. Good housekeeping service. Provided extra pillows on request. Breakfast was ok - but not much better than average. Pool on roof is FREEZING cold !! Should be heated. Nice bar. General location OK - expect to walk or travel to main sites of Hong Kong. Staff were always courteous and helpful. Value for money about right / but when you compare to luxury chains much more affordable.

"Average Hotel for the week"

Arrived in the evening with my family (wife and 3 teenage children) after a flight in from Sydney via the free connecting mini bus supplied by the MTR after coming in on the Airport Express train. The hotel is located a short walk form Tin Hau station. There is a 7/11 two doors up, and also a couple of bars and a supermarket. located the other side of the road near Tin Hau station however are >100 dining options, ranging from cheap and cheerful street food to high end dining. We got two rooms - one larger room with three beds for the kids, and a smaller room for my wife and I. Firstly the rooms are dated. The larger room for the kids was the pick of the bunch. It had a sofa, desktop computer (yes, and computer!!), and a spacious bathroom, complete with bath. However the main attraction was the view. AMAZING! it overlooked Victoria Park and the rest of Hong Kong towards Central, as well as Victoria Harbour and Kowloon. The view at nighttime is brilliant. The double room for my wife and I was very compact (read - TINY). The bathroom was also small. The double bed supplied was HARD. We asked for a bed top to soften the mattress, but were simply supplied with another thin duvet cover to put under the bottom sheet. Also we had a "mountain view" room, which is essentially HKG talk for "Look out your window and watch the people in the next tower do their homework and watch tv because they are so close". Breakfast can be had in the restaurant, however it's a tad pricey compared to the many, MANY other better options located within 5 mins walk of the hotel front door. On the roof is a gym and a rooftop pool and "spa". The spa is cold, so it seems to simply be a bubbly small round pool instead of a spa. The pool is nice. It's quite strange swimming 32 floors above the street. However it closes early in the evening at 9pm. I would like it to be opened later for sure. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time there as a family (I have visited for work many times), and it served us well. Will I stay there again with the family? I must admit that I would look at other options. However if my budget is limited, then I would happily stay there again.

"The cleaning team can do a better job!"

Pros The roof top pool offers an amazing view of the harbour. Hotel location was also close to the Tin Hau MTR station and tram station. Lots of restaurants around Tin Hau. Walkable distance to Causeway Bay. Also, bus stop close by to get to Stanley or Wanchai Pier to take the star ferry. Staff was friendly. Complimentary fruits & cookies were also a nice touch upon arrival. Shower was hot & strong. Nice view from our hotel room as well. Cons Room was not ready despite we checked in at 4pm. They said coz they had to get their supervisor to double check the room. even though they have given us complimentary drinks, normal check in time was meant to be 3pm, so this is quite unacceptable, especially we were all exhausted after the flights. This is the first hotel we have experienced this. With other hotels, we were usually able to get into our rooms even before the set checked in time. Bathroom was also a bit dusty & dirty. Dirt marks could be seen on the bathroom wall and on the back of the bathroom door. We didn't realise it at first due to poor lightning and was not cleaned during the duration of our stay. Made you wonder how clean everything else is. Pool & spa should also be opened till later instead of 9pm. Also the spa only has cold water. Being on the roof top, hot spa would have been a nicer option. They seemed to play live music on level 2 or 3, the music was always loud whenever we walked into the hotel and it was not the most pleasant singing either. It really made us cringed every time. Bed was also on the slightly harder side, but seems to be typical in Asian countries?
