"New hotel in a good location"
Really nice location in Silom area, 3 minutes away from the Skytrain and 10 minutes walking distance to the main area of Silom Street. The hotel is modern and new, big clean rooms. Absolutely amazing bathroom. You can use the pool and fitness studio in the buiding opposite the hotel, which is on the 8th floor and offer amazing views. The staff was always nice and polite. We just had two problems: : 1, We stayed there 5 nights and the Wifi was almost anytime working. 2, The flush in our room was broken, we went to recepcion after the check-in and informed about it. When we came back to the room it was not solved. We had to remove the cover from the Wc and in five days nobody went to fix it. The cleaning staff didn´t inform maintenance about the uncovered Wc.
"Great location and Very Good Hotel"
On our recent trip to Thailand and Myanmar we stayed at the Trinity Silom Hotel three times. Over the years we have stayed at this property a number of times – it has had various names during the years we have stayed here. We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the rate was amazing – we paid about $31/night once we averaged it out over the course of our stay, the wifi was fine, the staff are friendly, and the hotel was willing to hold are large suitcases as we traveled to other parts of Thailand and to Myanmar (no charge). The location is great – just a bit off Silom. Close to two BTS stops – Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng, shopping – including the night market at Patpong and restaurants. We did not have breakfast included with our stay, instead we bought yogurt and other items at the local supermarket Villa on the same street as the hotel and put it in the room refrigerator to enjoy a light breakfast in the morning before heading out into Bangkok. While we did not use it, there is a swimming pool in the building across from the hotel (owned by the same company we believe), that hotel guest may enjoy. One thing to be aware of in the rooms with bath tubs - the bath tubs are very high off the floor and you must be careful climbing out. A definite recommendation for a place to stay in Bangkok.
We expected more from it. The prices are in my opinion too expensive for the stay. Lots of street noise, outdated equipment in the room and some mold in the bathroom. Not the best stay i had and especially not at that price.
"O.K for the price "
The location of the hotel is very good. It's very central and we managed to do most things on foot. You should keep in mind that the rooms are very noise, at least the room we stayed in was...The air con is very loud and noisy and you can hear when the people in the room next door switch on their lights, so you can basically hear everything. The room and bathroom was clean. We got two bottles of water each day for free.
"Make the most of the amanities."
The hotel was great. Good rooms in terms of size and cleanliness. Breakfast was not included in our package and was quite expensive in the restaurant downstairs but we found a couple of local cafes that did good breakfast for a better price (when we did eat downstairs once it was lovely, but expensive to do every day). The staff members were all helpful. The real plus point of this hotel is the pool/fitness area. Across the road from the hotel (you get a pass at reception) the pool is a good size and its rooftop (ish) location gives you brilliant views of the city. We also played tennis (300 THB) and doing this around sunset with the views from the court was brilliant (although I did swallow a few bugs). Great hotel made better by an excellent pool - perfect for cooling off after a long day sight-seeing.
