"Fantastic stay"

Fantastic stay at a hotel in a beautiful setting.Great pools and pool area. The friendly staff are very efficient and hospitable. Fantastic view from the balcony of the hills, beautiful gardens and the lake. Highly recommended.

"We had great time relaxing at Sansuri"

All was really good, the pool villa we were allocated was beautiful and hotel staff were all friendly. However the breakfast buffet varieties pale and hotel food was in general, not fantastic. The extra bed we had wasn't comfy. Spa was excellent! Overall a great resort I would still come back to for next trip! I hope F&B would be given more focus for improvement so we could enjoy satisfying our tastebuds as food is important element of a good vacation.

"Excellent location"

Sunsuri Phuket is a very clean, peaceful and beautiful hotel with an excellent location, i.e. literally 5 minutes from the mesmerising Nai Harn Beach. Our room was perfectly clean and very spacious, with a magnificent view of the sea. The food provided was diverse and very tasty. More importantly, the staff are extremely nice and helpful, always attentive, always smiling. Our special thanks go to Nico at the Reception for being so kind and caring during a short period of illness --the support provided by the hotel was just brilliant. Our only 'improvement comment' is that the duration of the free shuttle service to Patong could be a bit longer in order to allow people to spend more time in town and to do things without having to rush. Overall, a great experience.

"We can't wait to come back , excellent"

We had an excellent stay at sunsuri I could not find fault at all, the staff were excellent and always happy and friendly, the pools are amazing and so is the food the breakfast buffet is more than enough to last until dinner with so much choice, can't wait to come back A1

"Perfect for R&R"

Everyone has heard of the Hollywood phrase “rest and relaxation”. If you’ve never had an R&R vacation, then Sunsuri should be your next vacation. Vacationing at Sunsuri makes you want to kick back and do nothing – and that’s what I wanted to do for my first vacation with my wife. In fact; that’s what the resort is geared towards, doing absolutely nothing at all. If your idea of a holiday entails activity and action, and you want a change – Sunsuri is the ideal option. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, there are staff on-hand to take the literal and metaphorical load off your shoulders – staff manage everything from the moment you step off the car. You don’t have to do anything, staff will come to you and register your stay, move your luggage etc. A marked difference from the typical “fill in your details here, here, here… and here” experience of arriving at a hotel. The resort is set on a sizeable plot of land – buggies are on hand to bring you to your room. You might as well use it, considering that some rooms are set on a steep gradient. The hill setting of the resort might not something you’d want to conquer on the first day, but it means that you get a nice view of the surrounding areas – a serene feeling to wake up to, and a great view to take in if you’re soaking in your personal pool. We stayed in the Grand View Pool Villa which came with a private pool. Though the resort has 5 massive pools (including a 15 feet pool equipped with a jumping ledge – elevated 10 feet into the air, as well as a water slide), having your own personal pool is a nice get away from the crowds. It might seem pricey, but when you’re soaking in personal pool away from the crowds, you’ll be glad you paid for the luxury and privacy. Oh the Jacuzzi in the pool definitely helps too. The rooms are big, well equipped, clean and comes equipped with a massive and fluffy bed. However; we didn’t spend much time in our room– not in any way to say that the rooms are bad, but between the massive pools, our private pool, a reasonable equipped gym, open spaces, massage and therapy, hotel organised activities, why would you spend your time in-doors? The hotel has 3 restaurants – all of which serve very good food. A lot of times, I find that hotel restaurant breakfast tends to leave you wanting, but not so in Sunsuri, the meals feature both variety and are tasty. One common issue with many hotel breakfast / buffet tend to be cost management – you’d find things like watered down curry, sushi with more rice than ingredients, pasta with nary an ounce of meat, pizza with more base than toppings. This I didn’t notice so much with Sunsuri, in fact; with things like curry and laksa, I found the soup thick and tasty. Not to mention thick cut slices of raw sashimi. While at the breakfast table, there were generous helpings of eggs, bacon and whatever fare was featured for the day. You might be confused with the so many different types of cuisine on offer here – that’s because Sunsuri rotates the cuisine on offer every day, not something many hotel restaurants do. If you did not want to venture out of the hotel, well; at least you know you’ll find something different every day. Also; for those who drink, I noticed that the restaurants did feature a beer and wine all-you-can-drink on some nights for a fixed price upgrade. Overall; I would say that this has been one of the most value-for-money R&R vacations I’ve had. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Cons: That said no place is perfect, and here were some issues we noted: 1. The resort is huge, take the buggies around the resort where possible, the trek up the hill is no joke 2. The resort is set pretty far away from Phuket Town, a good 1.5 ~ 2 hours. Be mentally prepared for a ride to and from the resort. It also doesn’t help that some taxi drivers are reluctant to drive you to the resort
