"Whole resort spoiled by front office staff Ms.Ayako"
We were a group of 20 people stayed in the resort for four days( 24 - 27 May 2017). The resort is good with all the amenities. But the guest experience is completely spoiled by the Japanese front office staff who takes care of the night shift Ms.Ayako. She doesn't have the basic tendency to treat the guest in a good manner. She is too rude and unprofessional and she purposely wanted to ill treat the guests when they ask for the wifi passwords or wake up calls. We thought , only we had the issue with her but we heard from another Chinese group booked from Auga travel that they also had the experience from her. If the management wants to provide a good hospitality to their guests , I strongly recommend them not to use her for front office as it's the most important department that deals with guest relations directly.
"It's big! Drive right in."
You could quite literally drive right into the reception desk - but why would you? Reception was friendly/helpful, as were the staff in general. If you have a walking problem, make sure of your room location. We were 4 minutes away from the dining room but only 1 minute from the small car park. I say "small" because it was, relative to the size of the resort. Maybe because most of its clients come in tour buses. The room we had was reasonably large and comfortable (3 of us in 2 double beds); bathroom was in need of some maintenance (plywood pealing off the door and tap washers due for replacement) but overall it was kept clean; room service was a bit hit-and-miss but nothing too serious. Wi-Fi was not very good where we were. I had to go up to the reception area to make initial connection. A password is necessary for each device. Swimming pools were clean and quite attractive as evident by the number of Asian tourists posing for photos . . . Restaurant was large; food OK but breakfast rates were confusing. Even staff seemed confused. (Check your bill before paying.) Hot food (eggs & bacon etc) came out hot but wasn't kept hot. The rest was good but overall I thought it a bit expensive. If you would be happy for an egg-n-bacon roll, go elsewhere. I found a beehive in the brickwork outside our unit. The smallest bees I've ever seen. Native bees. They are too small to hurt anyone and I believe they are important to the ecology so I hope no one else finds them and destroy the hive.
This place is popular for the asian tourist and locals also reside in this resort. Due to locals residing in the resort and can get a bit creep towards the end of the resort. Other than the creepy dingy accommodation at the end of the resort, the swimming pools aren't too bad for the kids or adults. During summer the pools are actually pretty hot. I like the man made beach pool near the reception. Rooms are out dated but livable though as I said before a tad creepy. You can also see outside from the bottom of the door as there is a bit of a gap.
