"Very nice "

We stayed at Ramada Resort for 7 nights. We really enjoyed it. Everybody here is very nice and helpful. It's very cozy. We recommend this resort to family and friends. It's a resort perfect for family and couples

"OK place "

Ramada is offered as part of Wyndham membership and the only reason I am staying here as I bought an expensive trial membership. This place is an OK place nothing exceptional. Furniture in our apartment was tired and couch was torn at 2 spots and had oil marks. Pool was lagoon style and offered some consolation but was full of mosquitoes and we could not sit next to it for even a single minute. Food in the restaurant is nice and it is worth a visit, credit to the chef. Will not be buying a full membership based on the last 2 visits at different resorts in Aus and NZ.

"Perfect for at least a week stay"

the resort is good but we ha the choice rooms which actually have their back door facing he Oaks resort next door - ground floor towards he pool. I loved the pool - happy hour is good - food not too bad. the staff were friendly and their recommendations as to day trips very good. intentions are to return every second year.

"Hmmmm"

It really depends on expectations. We bought a Groupon voucher which was incredibly good value and we were essentially staying two nights however little time at hotel as a stop over before going elsewhere. I stayed at this hotel when it was Treetop resort and was shocked with how run down the place had got in 6ish years. If I had to stay any longer than two nights I would not have been happy. Our room was toxic with mould smell which was borderline unbearable. I had read review saying this so I kind of grit and bared it however the next day hubby and kids couldn't bare anymore. Staff put a machine in to ventilate the room but it wasn't really ok. Room was clearly timeshare - massive tv and speaker systems which were so over the top and not wanted for holiday. There were no cups, coffee cups etc. Booked room with two adults two kids - bed wasn't made up on arrival and when I call reception incredibly rude and unprofessional Indian man proceeded to tell me how the staff were idiots and hadn't done there job and he would HAVE to come up and make the bed. Umm..... we are on holidays and don't need nor want your anger nor bad manners. Would I go back. No. We are seasoned travellers and again it was ok for our needs over a short stay however if this was my dream holiday and staying longer I would be packing my bags and demanding my money back. My take is that this time share accommodation arrangement is the problem. These guys are not in the hospitality game. They are property managers at best and do the bare minimum. The complex is run down and wouldn't take a huge amount to do a big clean.

"Very relaxing and good value"

Our second time at the Ramada, first time was when it was the Radisson Treetops. Not a lot has changed in 12 years, the main restaurant has disappeared, but the pool is still the same, a nice tranquil setting with lots of pool side lounges, outdoor restaurant & bar. So you can even chill out with a drink or some lunch by the pool when it's bucketing down. The rooms are nice, clean and great aircon, but they can vary from room to room as I think some are privately owned. Ours, for example, had a tv the size of a computer monitor and I needed my binocuilas to see it from the bed, whilst other rooms had huge TVs up on the wall. Some consistency would be good so you knew what you were getting. It's best suited if you have a hire a car and there's ample parking. Check in times are pretty vague and you may find yourself there at 2pm expecting to check in and having to wait a few hours, and some of the staff seem like they wished they were somewhere else apart from talking to you. Though others were friendly and had a smile on their face, so a bit of a mixed bag. No wifi in rooms, only at the pool & lobby. All in all it's a pleasant, quiet (not in school holidays), comfortable hotel with a nice relaxing pool & bar area. It's reasonably good value compared to some other places where you can spend twice as much and get much the same room.
