Kakadu National Park is even groot als Denemarken of Ierland en is het grootste National Park van Australië.
"Great trip to Kakadu "
The hotel has obviously aged a little since it was built, but all the same is very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very attentive providing knowledge about the local area and providing recommendations. The restaurant was lovely with nice meals. We enjoyed our stay. Don't expect the same standard as you may expect in the city but then remember you're not paying city prices.
Very disappointed with the place very dirty and run down. Bathroom had stains in the bath, floor needed a good scrub. Carpet in dinning room filthy and very stained. Food in dinning room was very nice if a bit overpriced. Not a good look for overseas visitors. Lift your game. Outside area could be very nice but pool needs an upgrade.
"Decent hotel for decent price"
This was the only hotel that we pre-booked for our trip through the Outback (Broome to Darwin). The restaurant was good - especially compared to what options we'd had up to that point and the restaurant staff were excellent. We did roll our eyes when we had to make a reservation for the hotel for dinner in an hour - there's hardly anyone at the hotel and it is the low season. However, this was not unique just to here - Aussie's really have a hang up about reservations which is really annoying when you're on vacation and trying to keep a flexible, no-stress schedule. Hotel rooms are spacious with nice little patio outside. The rooms do need a little updating and a good dusting and cleaning.
A must see when in Kakadu and worth a nights stay. Friendly staff and clean cool rooms. Pool area clean tidy and inviting. As with all things Kakadu a little expensive but worth the trip. Kakadu park is on your doorstep and you do it need a four by four to visit most sites.
When my partner booked us to stay in a crocodile I was a bit concerned that it would be tacky - to my surprise it was one of the best places we have stayed on our journey. The hotel itself is very well kept and incredibly nice. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and a bottle of cold water each! The receptionist offered a suggestion of activities for the evening and a spot near by to view the sunset and grab some dinner. We had no plans that evening and were delighted to have such a suggestion. The sunset spot was one of the most beautiful we have seen and it would have been a shame to miss it. We are very grateful that this recommendation was made by the hotel. When we arrived at our room we were over joyed at how nice it was along with the cleanliness. It was one of the better nights sleep we had over the journey and really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
