Het eiland heeft alle ingrediënten voor een unieke kennismaking met het typische Australische wildleven. U kunt het eiland op eigen gelegenheid verkennen of een korte tour boeken onder begeleiding van een gids die u interessante achtergrondinformatie geeft.

Food was well presented the meat was tender, but the supposedly cooked vegetables were raw. To the point that my fork could not even through the broccolini. The staff were attentive and the location was lovely.
"Old, but Ok and excellent location"
I was in the old part of the hotel and got a family room with a very decent size. The furniture is okd, but mostly ok. It would have been nice to replace some really old and unsightly items in the bathroom, e.g. DUSCHSChLAuch. Housekeeping was a bit erratic. Each day I got loads of new towels, but they did not change the cups, they left the dirty ones just there. And each they the left thr TURKEIL in the middle of the floor, that was a bit annoying. The location is excellent, just between the ocean and the main road. Within a few minutes you can get to the jetty.
"A Good Choice"
A good location, right on the ocean. Great sea views from most rooms. Rooms in the old part are a little smaller, but recently renovated very nice. The rooms in the new building are well appointed, quite large, plenty of cupboard space. The bathrooms are a bit small, but quite nice. Breakfast is a bit disappointing, dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good though.
"could have been a great holiday"
Holiday: Saturday and Sunday night stay Accommodation: Executive room in main original hotel (above bar & restaurant) was nice and overlooked the ocean. These rooms have been renovated. Originally we were booked in the accommodation building across the road to this establishment (the building in the photos on website) and we were put into an executive ground floor room which faced the car park and a fence blocked off most of the window. Rooms were nice just not the view I was hoping for. Luckily they were able to upgrade us (at a cost of course) to a nicer room with view. The young lady on reception was helpful. Food; We booked a meal in the restaurant for the Saturday evening and was looking forward to it as work colleagues have dined there and said how great it was. We didn't have this 'great' experience. The service at the beginning was excellent. Oyster entrÃ©e was sensational The main meals disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips requesting the fish to be grilled. When I received it there was one piece of fish broken down the middle - slightly warm and very overcooked and rubbery. Sitting on top of very yellow, soggy, luke warm thin cut chips with a little salad on the side. Stupidly I ate the fish quickly before it became inedible and cold, but I should have sent the whole dish back. I asked for replacement fresh hot chips which they supplied immediately so this is what I filled up on for $28. When we grabbed a staff member to discuss this meal they offered us 10% off the total bill which we politely accepted. Should have really taken the meal off the bill. I actually couldn't believe that the chefs and waiting staff would actually let this meal be delivered to a table. Overall - I would stay here again as it seems to be the main accommodation on the island and the rooms were quite nice and clean. Staff were helpful. I would eat at a take away down the road I think.
Myself and my partner stayed here after a week on the Island and were very disappointed with the service we received. We had booked our package with the Ozone two months in advance and when we arrived we were given keys and sent up to our room only to find that we had been given a disabled executive room which not only boasted a view of the carpark and wheelie bins but it was evident that it had not been used for sometime as the drains in the bathroom smelt so bad we had to keep the door shut our entire stay. There was also a delightful non slip shower mat in there which was mouldy. When we enquired as to why we had been give this room we were meet with nothing but hostility and no effort was made to try and move us, or even downgrade us to a regular room. We had checked in at 2.15pm and somehow had managed to get the last room available. The package we booked via the hotels website also included a complimentary bottle of wine and when I asked when I would get it, I was questioned rather gruffly as to why I would be entitled to a free bottle of wine. Apparently packages purchase online, via the hotel's own website are somehow tricky for them to locate. We spent two nights in the hotel and our room was not made up. A cleaner asked us if we wanted some tea bags which we took, however nothing else was done in our room and we were out all day apart for half an hour at lunch time. When we checked out we voiced our concerns to the girl at the desk, who was polite and courteous, however there was still no effort made to try and compensate us or even attempt to call a manager for us to speak with. It is a real shame as the service we received everywhere else on the island was amazing and we had a wonderful holiday. This was not the end to our holiday we were hoping for.
