"Awesome romantic private location "

   13-01-2017
From the moment we arrived from check in to check out, we received awesome service. From the manager to the reception staff and house keeping. We were shown around our Beach Bungalow which was professional and left to settle in. Wow what a location and such a lovely and clean bungalow. We swam, read and snorkelled the beautiful lagoon for days. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple and fresh. From the moment you were seated by the lovely staff with a fruit platter to the fresh toast and juices. Happy that it was simple and fresh. Lunches were delicious, generous and fresh. The kayaks were awesome too as well as happy hour. The Fijian waiter was lovely and remembered our names as well. The only negative thing is the unreliable hourly local bus which used everyday. We just wish there was a well priced shuttle bus of some sort to get around the island which isn't that big. The taxis are rip off at $40 plus anywhere from little Poly, would rather spend my pennies enjoying meals and tours. Hire cars are well priced at around $50 to $60 a day but when we both like to enjoy a few drinks with dinner so this was not an option. It's a shame little Poly doesn't have a shuttle as we would make this our yearly January holiday location instead of Vanuatu who has locals in vans cheaply transporting locals and tourists around.

"Paradise!"

   07-01-2017
We stayed at Little Polynesian Resort, Rarotonga for 4 nights in December 2016. I can't really fault anything. They have the best customer service ever, amazing food and a stunning view. I would definitely stay at this resort again!

"Best resort on the Island"

   06-01-2017
What a magical resort. We came here for a baby moon when I was 7 months. The team were so amazing. They went out of their way to help us with anything we requested. We had a beachfront bure which was luxurious. The view straight on to the beach was fabulous but also private enough to feel like we were on a deserted island. The outdoor shower and spa bath were well used by us. Especially as the weather was great and I was cooking. The daily breakfast was generous and just perfect for an island holiday. Lovely bread and coffee, fruits, yoghurt and cereal. And juice! I loved sitting by the pool reading the paper. Just so relaxing. The room was very clean and everything worked as should. Nice pressure in the shower. There's a mango tree by the front gates. Yum yum. Good location and snorkeling here was way better than Muri Beach. In fact was probably the best snorkeling on the island just out in front of the resort. Really close to Charlies beach hut for delicious fish sandwiches! Very much recommend staying here. Sorry for the delay in posting, baby got in the way!

"Beautiful bit of paradise in the South Pacific!"

   27-12-2016
The Little Poly Resort consists of 14 self-contained beautiful suites - ours had a private front patio and a fabulous outdoor shower, complete with tropical plants, in the back! The suite itself, was large, spacious and very comfortable! The location is perfect - steps from the gorgeous beach in the South Pacific (located in a lagoon - water wonderful for swimming), infinity pool and fabulous indoor/outdoor restaurant! Hardly anyone was ever on the beach - you can walk forever! The food was perfect, the location was perfect, the amenities were perfect, and the people were PERFECT! Thanks so much to Louie Enoka, June, Breanna, Chuta, Mana, Moni, Seth - and anyone else I have missed! You all helped to make our stay very memorable!! Things to do: make sure you take the clockwise and anticlockwise bus around the island - great way to get your bearings! We also did the 'Highland Paradise' excursion - it was great - Danny (the Maori chief) was the MC and Willi was our driver! We also had lunch at a gorgeous outdoor restaurant located across the road from the Little Poly - it is called the Hidden Spirit Cafe - words cannot quite describe how lovely it is! Many tourists tend to go to Tahiti, Bali, Fiji etc., so the Cook Islands tend to fly under the travelling radar - check it out, and I highly recommend the Little Polynesian Resort on Rarotonga!!

"Our 8th visit to the Little Poly - Consistency and perfection!"

   06-12-2016
The Little Poly is an adults only resort. This resort was designed for couples of all ages from the young newly weds looking to enjoy the romance of the resort to the mature couples who are looking for breath taking views, sophistication and relaxation. It takes a lot for us to return to the same resort year after year given where we are travelling from in Canada but the Little Poly experience is worth it! .. We use to come every other year but in the last few years we return yearly. What keeps us coming back in one word is PERFECTION! The beach ares are on the perfect beach, the views stunning, the snorkeling great, the food and midday drinks at the restaurant are great. We love the evening setting for dining - try to make it for sunset the palm tree shadows on infinity pool, and the sun sinking down beyond the reef is stunning... We enjoy the constant upgrades we see.... they are always trying to give the guests the most enjoyable experience possible. You have to remember we don't just stay for 3 or 4 nights... we stay for 12 nights at a time and it never gets old. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with authentic polynesian touches.......the bathrooms are stunning- I love the large indoor shower with its rain shower head and the pebble floor that massages your feet! My partner loves the outdoor shower....which is located in the secret private garden that they have just developed out the glass doors of your bathroom. These gardens are a new touch and it is your own private piece of paradise to enjoy. Just another layer of tasteful refinement and enjoyment! It is a peaceful space with two chairs to sit and quietly read a book or just doze off, and our garden had two orchids in bloom! The good thing about returning to this property is I notice the the improvements! This year they had added some more polynesian carvings in the public areas! The grounds were stunning before but they are changing them to try and reach perfection! The management is new and I hope they don't mind me saying but I notice all these changes. The large over the top flower arrangements at the entrance to the resorts have been taken up a notch again! I can't believe it! they were perfect before but they are truly trying for absolute perfection and the flowers are no exception! The rooms are getting tasteful additions also... but I like to focus on the now...I don't know any person that we have chatted with at the resort that have ever had a complaint.... you are on vacation, just relax and enjoy the stunning rooms and resort... speaking of relaxation.... Something we really love is the new hammocks on the beach... Available at the resort for guest use is snorkel equipment, paddle boards, and kayaks. For breakfast dining they have both a tropical breakfast option starting with fresh fruit (see the picture) and toast etc or you can order a hot breakfast off the menu. We alternated between the two. We had dinner several times in the restuarant- great food! This is a destination restaurant so non resort guest also it enjoy it but if you are staying longer there are other options for dining in the vicinity.... Tips. Get up at sunrise when the lagoon is calm and watch the tails of the parrot fish come out of the water as they feed on the coral. Two guests in the resort saw a turtle and stingray.... while kayaking...about halfway to the reef.... we find the best snorkeling out from unit number 1. The bus stops in front of the resort. There is a bench there. If you want to buy black pearls send me a note I can make some recommendations of where to shop. I only shop at reputable shops. The garden units give you the same amenities as the beach front so if that is your option you will still enjoy it. From the garden units you are only another 50ft to the beach!
