"One week vacation in fall of 2017."

This was an excellent place for a family. It was smaller, and more personal than the larger resorts. There were several employees who went out of their way to get to know us, and take good care of us without "smothering" us with gratuitous attention: 1. Sechel: Helped us with our bags the first day, learned all of our names in the snap of a finger, and went out of his way to help us every time we came and went all week. 2. Josuel: A very sincere professional who was very accommodating and personable every time we dealt with him. When we needed something, he always found us, not the other way around. 2. Carolina: She worked at the bar near the pool and was very gracious with me, my wife, and my children. I appreciate all of their kindness and professionalism, and I commend all of the staff there. Highly recommend this hotel.

"Cousins Holiday, we'll be back"

We chose Manchebo based on the wellness theme, the restaurant choices and the area . We read the reviews and wondered whether they were too good to be true. Well the entire experience exceeded our expectations and we give the entire experience very high marks. The staff on the entire resort are friendly, helful and hard working. The restaurants are top notch from Ikes. For breakfast and dinner to the steak house (special shout-out to Harold who makes creative and delicious tableside dessert masterpieces) to the incredible Omakase staff it was all wonderful. The Pega Pega was a great place for lunch and drinks in the afternoon or evening and the staff members Phoebus, Ignacio, Junior, and Gershon were supberb and entertaining! Now let's talk about the beach and the overall grounds-- this is a peaceful pristine property where you never feel crowded. The beach is the best and Alejandra and Josuel will bring you anything you need while you are enjoying the wonderful beach. My cousin and I can't say enough about the service and setting and the kindness and friendliness of the staff. This place is truly special and we hope to return.

"Honeymoon vacations"

Stayed in this hotel in May 2018, five nights. Nice staff, always greeting with smiles, on the front desk, breakfast, bars and on the beach. We had a pleasant stay, Manchebo/Eagle beach are the best ones in Aruba, few people/families than in Palm beach, only drawback is the waters are not calm. There is a small mall on the Casino, a few steps way, but the bigger ones with nightlife will be in Palm Beach, just a couple of miles away (car or bus is required). We had a beach front room, ground floor, which was good, nice view and clean - remark to the great king size bed, the room in overwall will require a renovation soon I think. Average breakfast, fruits, breads, cakes and a la carte beverage (coffee/water/juice). Good swimming pool, not big but enought, however we were there for the beach and it was very nice, quiet, few people passing by, everytime we had chairs availble, we were able to spend some time there, resting and etc. The sunset is amazing there. In overall I really recommend this hotel.

"Manchebo Never Disappoints!"

Well once again, for the 4th time we have returned to this hotel and had a great time. This is a small friendly, service oriented hotel. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, beautiful beach, great food and great service from an accomadating, attentive staff. From the front desk to the housekeepers everyone was welcoming and willing to help you with whatever you needed. Had a lot of great fun with the staff of the Osaka’s Japenses Sushi Bar. Jason, Mylene, Phyllis, Michael, and Emely made sure we had a great time from soup to nuts! Enjoyed the delicious sushi . Returned to the adjoining Chop House where our waiter Harold served us up another most delicious meal!!!! Can’t say e ouch about Manchebo! Would never go anywhere else in Eagle Beach area of Aruba! Thanks Manchebo staff for another great vacation!!

"Relaxing - just what we needed"

   20-05-2018
We just returned yesterday from our 7 day stay at Manchebo Beach Resort - May 12 to 19th. We are already missing our beach chairs and delicious drinks. We opted for the All-Inclusive option and really enjoyed it. We have traveled to several islands over the years and always go with All-Inclusive resorts. I can honestly say this was some of the best food we have ever had. We did retain our receipts from Manchebo to compare the All Inclusive vs. Non-All Inclusive but I think overall it was the best bang for our buck. Arrival: We took a cab from the airport - it was $22 one way but easiest for us. We were greeted by Sebastian at the entrance and then checked in. We were given a cool towel and our welcome Mojito's. Sebastian took us to our room - #8 on the 1st floor - where it was cool and clean. Rooms: They are not the largest or most luxurious we have stayed in, but they were comfortable and clean - all we cared about. A larger dresser would be a positive but we made it work. The bathrooms are updated with a rain-shower head with great water pressure and always sufficient hot water. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows stunk...again, we made it work :) We typically do not like 1st floor rooms but we actually liked it at this resort. The balconies were small when looking at people sitting on them and the patio's with the 1st floor rooms had a lot more space to move around. The lock on the door was more than enough and we never felt unsafe in the 1st floor room. There is a drying rack on the patio as well so very nice for hanging your suits at the end of the day. Beach: One word: INCREDIBLE - exactly as it looks in pictures. The turtles have nested so there sections blocked off but there is so much room on the beach you don't even notice it, plus it's very cool how they have this sectioned off for them. The earliest we were out was around 9am and the latest was after 11am and we never did not have a palapa. When you are ready to head out to the beach go to the Pega Pega Bar closest to the beach and there they have a young man that will bring you your chairs to the palapa of your choice. The beach service is awesome and they run their butts off for the guests. Just put your flag in the sand and they are ready to take your order. Food: As I stated, we had the all-inclusive package and we did not ever leave hungry. We ate 2X a day - either had breakfast or lunch than dinner. We never had a hard time finding a time for dinner - reservations were made the same day. We ate at Pega Pega for lunch - had the breakfast buffet 2 days and ate at Ike's 2X - Chophouse 2X - Omakase Sushi 1X and ate out 2 nights - 1 night is on the resort with about 8 places to choose from. We chose the Old Cucunu House, which is a local Arubian restaurant where the locals go. It was so delicious!!!! We did have to pay for our own alcohol there and there were surcharges for the food we had - Garlic Shrimp dinner and a Conch Creole dish. Our total bill was $33.00 with the surcharges and than tipped on the overall cost of the dinner. We also ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant by the high-rise section - Hostaria da' Vittorio. Dinner was exceptional and we paid for that on our own but worth every penny. We took cabs to both dinners - costing us $9.00 each way plus tip. Oranjestad: We rode the bus to town 2 days for a few hours each day for shopping. We bought the bus passes at the front desk - $5.00 per person - round trip. The bus stop was across from the casino on the main street to the resort - a 5 minute walk. The buses ran every 20 minutes and stopped at the bus depot down town, where the cruise ships dock. Both days we went to town, there were no ships in port, so downtown was not crowded. Ask the front desk when they come in so you can avoid them. Overall - the resort is so clean and beautiful - the staff amazing - the beach amazing - the island as a whole, amazing. The resort is a green resort and you never saw anything out of place. It was perfect. Hint: Tips are included with the all-inclusive package however we did still tip with additional cash to many of the employees as they all deserved it. We probably went thru $100.00 for the week. Overall - would recommend this resort - in fact my parent's are currently looking into staying here next year. We would definitely return as well. Thank you Manchebo staff!!!
