"Perfectly located hotel "
I had a great stay. I got an upgraded room, definitely ask for a room on a higher floor. The room was clean, the bed was not as comfortable but it was ok. I also ordered room service which was very good and delivered quickly. The location was great to walk to quince market, coffee and the freedom trail.
"Boston History Tour"
We stayed at the Nine Zero Hotel on Tremont St. It is the perfect hotel for waking the freedom trails in downtown Boston. The rooms are great, the staff is exceptional and every employee we meet ask how are we doing and can they help us. Andrew is very helpful in telling us how to get around Boston and the sights we need to see. I would highly recommend this hotel for any future trip to "Downtown" Boston!!
"Very Convenient Location and Friendly Staff"
We've stayed at a few other Kimpton hotels and while the decor was a bit dated and not up to par with others we've stayed at, the outstanding service and convenient location made it well worth it. They changed my reservation at the last minute to Nine Zero from Onyx because I wanted to be closer to Boston Common and they did so with ease. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating and you cannot beat being just a mile from the North End and right next to Boston Common. They had daily coffee and hot cocoa station, the nightly wine reception with hors d'oeuvres and upgraded our room since we are Kimpton Karma members. Great place to stay for a little holiday getaway.
"Another great stay at Kimpton"
We have previously stayed at the Kimpton hotels in Aspen and Salt Lake City so we were eager to try this one too! We usually stay at the Copley Plaza Hotel while visiting Boston, but decided to try Nine Zero. My husband, son and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We especially liked the cocktail hour where we got to meet several interesting people. The staff went overboard with their hospitality and kindness. My two dogs were treated well and even allowed to join us in the sitting area. Our double queen-sized room was larger than expected and the beds were perfect. We are already planning a return trip in January for a couples away weekend. We wouldn't think of staying in any other place in Boston or cities where there is a Kimpton Hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
"Kimpton Hotel without the Kimpton Vibe"
If you are looking for a room with 2 queen beds, avoid the Kimpton Nine Zero the way you'd avoid a plague. You'll be staring at a wall and it will be totally depressing--not worth it--many other options in town with a better view. The only queen rooms in the hotel face a wall--they have a few skyline rooms but they use that term loosely. I'm a fan of Kimpton Hotels, especially Monaco in Alexandria, but the Kimpton Nine Zero doesn't live up to the brand. The general vibe was off -- happy hour was meh, some of the front receptionists were very nice but some not so much --it was almost like they were waiting for you to leave, especially Patricia --she needs a class in hospitality. She couldn't decide if she wanted to be nice or nasty--it made me very uncomfortable. The room service food was pretty bad and on my last night at the hotel, upon coming back to my room, my room looked like the room attendant spent all of 10 seconds cleaning the room up. The bathroom is also nothing special. Location is very good--between walking distance of a lot of attractions but I'd not stay here again...ever. I'd stay at Long Wharf--plenty of good hotel options there with a view and without the aggravation!! Save yourselves --book somewhere else!
