"Amazing Building - Some Limitations"

   08-12-2016
Background first. I am a road warrior and a Marriott Platinum Elite. At this hotel because I was speaking at a conference at the hotel and the client put me here. This was a business trip not a vacation. The Cosmopolitan is spectacular Vegas glamour. Over the top. Huge. Must be 30 places to eat. They have more employees I am sure then the whole state of Montana!!!! This place is massive. So the bad news first. If you are a Marriott Rewards person realize that most of the perks are not given at the AC hotels. No executive floor no free breakfast. I did get a room upgrade to a Terrace Suite and the 3pm late checkout. Lots of walking - lots - to get from point A to point B - not unlike other Vegas large hotels - so if you have disabilities consider that. Just getting from the registration desk to my room was a cardio experience as I was in the east tower. While the room was over the top glam and glitz it was more form than function. The bathroom was like a bat cave - (think SpringHill suites with the backlit mirrors) - and if you are over 50 and like to see your face when you shave or put on makeup - not so good. My suite has a sectional sofa, two side chairs, a desk chair - and there was not enough light anywhere to read a paper. The bed has a wall lamp on either side - which was the only light bright enough to read. Even the desk light pretty much sucked. And. . . . . . . if you are a coffee drinker - no coffee in the room. OMG Since I tried to stay on East Coast time - at 5am I am getting dressed to go downstairs to find coffee. (coffee addict - love my coffee first thing in the AM - no coffee in the room makes me crazy.) So again - if you are on a vacation - no big deal. If you are on business - the room is way more form than function - but is glamourous. On the positive front. Staff could not have been more friendly. All interactions with staff get an A plus. Had two breakfast's in Henry's 24 restaurant in the east tower and the omelets might be the best I have ever had. If you are a breakfast eater - this is the best. There are two gyms. Both very impressive. If you like to workout you will be happy. Since it was 50 for a high - i did not check out the two pools - i did not leave the hotel - which appears to be very centrally located on the Strip. When you are up at 5am you also witness the excessive cleaning being done everywhere - the hotel is in immaculate condition. If you want a vacation resort - this is over the top.

"Magnificent View of the Strip"

   08-12-2016
Stayed here after a pretty long drive from Page, Arizona. Checked in with a friendly receptionist who was kind enough to move us to the East tower (if I remember correctly) so that we can enjoy the Bellagio fountain view. The view is simply amazing! We got to enjoy the fountain show anytime we want. Comfy bed, but the room was a very cold that we spent the whole 3 days without turning the AC on. The downside was that I caught cold & fever because of the exhausting road trips we had been in, so I spent most of the time sleeping in the room. Didn't get to enjoy Las Vegas that much. But on a positive note, I got more time to enjoy the comfy bed and the magnificent views of the Strip.

"Great view and lovely rooms"

   08-12-2016
We stayed at the Cosmo for 4 nights during our trip to Vegas. We opted for a high room and were given one that overlooked the Bellagio Fountains and the Strip. The view was incredible, we were on the 51st Floor. On arrival the car park was very easy to find and is free during for guests (we never had to show a ticket so I would think anyone could park there). Check in was quick and easy and we were helped to our room (with 10 bags between us) by a very friendly bell boy. Our room had two queen beds, a desk, separate seating area, a gorgeous shower, two sinks and separate toilet. There is plenty of room to hang clothes. The mini bar was fully stocked but we didn't use it (although I was charged for some items which were refunded). Amenities in the room include TV, Desk, telephone, hairdryer, glasses, and bathroom products. There aren't any tea and coffee making facilities but there is a Starbucks within the hotel. There are numerous bars and restaurants within the hotel, the Chandler Bar is beautiful and has an extensive drinks menu. The Pool area is gorgeous and there are a huge amount of gambling options! Location wise, I think this is one of the best in the strip, right next to the Bellagio and opposite the High Roller.

"Fountain View!!"

   07-12-2016
I went to the Cosmopolitan a few days ago. I LOVE this hotel, it feels really unique and glamorous! I had a wrap around Terrace suite with views of the Bellagio Fountains, TIP: get a room in the EAST tower it is closer to the Strip with better views. The West tower is behind the East so the views are more to the side. Check in staff were polite and courteous, my room wasn't ready so she upgraded me to the suite for $100 extra, and I'm glad I did because it was fantastic!. The suite is spacious, modern, light and airy, they are HUGE and have a full on kitchen with a full size fridge and microwave. The bedroom and bathrooms are SO big, spacious and clean! with separate w.c which I always think is nice to have. There is also another bathroom with shower in the hallway. I ordered room service, just a burger, but it was fresh, and delicious and HOT! The Chandelier Bar downstairs is a MUST to have a drink ! (maybe a Cosmopolitan HA!) Every single member of staff I spoke to were polite, friendly and helpful. Even the Black Jack dealer was friendly and helped me out because he could see I was obviously a Rookie!! Finally the LOCATION of this hotel cannot be beat, it is RIGHT in the middle of the Strip with a walkway bridge across the Strip so pretty much everything is within walking distance either North or South! I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to go there again!

"Excellent place"

Excellent hotel , has everything on site, casino, restaraunts etc , even has an ice skating rink. The room we had was a city room suite and was first class, best view of the strip from balcony which directly overlooks the Bellagio fountains. All amenities here are A grade.
