"Very Nice Chic Hotel"
Love this hotel Ideally located on the strip next to The Bellagio and opposite The Miracle Mile. A very busy hotel so had to wait a short while to check in and a bigger wait for check out (although they do offer express check out whilst in the queue). Our room was on the 41st floor overlooking the New York end of the strip - I think it was called a City room. As this hotel was originally built as apartments, our room was of a decent size with lounge/kitchen area with a sink and mini bar. Good size wardrobe with bathrobes. Bathroom had double sink, separate toilet, shower and square size bath tub with view of city! King size bed. Room had balcony with table and chair. Hotel had a number of restaurants, we only visited the one - The Wicked Spoon. We went here for breakfast each morning, which as we booked via Virgin Holidays was included in the price. The choice at breakfast was amazing - omelettes, fried chicken, beef, sushi, cake, fruit, cereal, toast, bagels...... the list is endless. We visited the Chelsea Pool which was on the 14th level. Beautiful pool, sun loungers and cabana's (if you could afford them!) The pool area does get busy by about 10am. Towels are given when you arrive at pool. We also visited the Chandelier bar - perfect for a nice drink or cocktail before you hit the strip. We did pay a resort fee and was aware of this when we booked, this seems to be the norm now I think. WiFi was included in this fee. We stayed at The Bellagio last year and that was very nice too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely, stay again if visiting Las Vegas.
"Great experience "
Beautiful hotel with a great location in the centre of the Strip. We got a room upgrade and had a stunning view of the Strip overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. We went to Marquee nightclub on Monday night, free entry for resort guests. It was an amazing experience, DJ with dancers, lots of people in the outdoor space by the pool. We spent most of our time at the Boulevard pool. Midweek it was pretty low key, a mix of age groups . Thursday it started to get busier and more lively. There were a few kids there but I personally would not bring my kids as there was a lot of drinking and the behaviour that comes along with it, especially towards the afternoon/evening. Wicked Spoon Buffet had really good food, and the small individual serving dishes were pretty unique. Definitely plan to stay at this resort again!
I really like this hotel and it is quite hip, but I hate Hiden fees and expecially when it says here on Trip Advisor that WiFi and pool are free. They are not! Now I did not book through Trip Advisor and that could explain it, but I do price shop and comparison shop using the site. So beware of this. I booked for 308 on another site and Trip Advisor price is 350, so on the surface it appears they are 42 bucks higher. When I check in to the Cosmo I am informed of a 38 dollar a day resort fee, and you will need to ask the amount they just refer to it as resort fee over and over until you ask them direct how much is the resort fee. It's all a Script the employees follow. So my point is what out for these back end fees if you are on the edge between one location and another, and be sure to ask for all fees involved for staying at any resort in Vegas for this has become common practice.
"Location, Food and Comfort - A perfect combination"
We recently stayed at The Cosmopolitan for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday with friends. This was our second stay at Cosmo and I cannot imagine we will ever stay anywhere else in Vegas. You could easily never leave the property and be perfectly happy. The pools are awesome, food choices galore, amazing cocktails, ample entertainment and the spa is to die for. We love that most of the rooms have balconies and loved having a room that overlooked the Bellagio Fountains. it was great to be able to sit outside in comfort and enjoy the view, a rarity in Vegas. The crowd is definitely a younger, hip one and the hotel does have its edgy side so it is not a great choice for families. If you are looking for great service and an upscale experience, look no further.
"Very nice hotel"
This is a really nice hotel located in the center of the Las Vegas strip. Perfect location. It has a new, modern feel to it. The views of the strip from your room is amazing. We looked out over the northern part of the strip and had fantastic views of the Bellagio fountains. They told us there were 20 restaurants at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place. The only concern would be that the hotel is rather pricey. But that's true most of the new hotels now in Vegas. I would definitely recommend this place.
