Las Vegas is vooral bekend vanwege de extravagante casino's en thema-hotels. De bekendste bevinden zich aan de Strip, een 4 mijl (6,4 km) lang stuk van de Las Vegas Boulevard. Las Vegas herbergt sinds jaren de grootste amusementsindustrie ter wereld. Veel bekende artiesten traden en treden op in Las Vegas, zoals Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Barry Manilow, Céline Dion en zelfs 'onze eigen' Hans Klok.

We had a Great experience will recommend to friends & family. Giada restaurant was the highlight of our trip, we got to meet her. My wife was happy. Excellent customer service much better than those big hotels .

"Inconsistent and overall dissapointing stay"

Pros: Unique strip hotel with charm, friendly and helpful staff, self-serve coffee bar Cons: Loud rooftop club, some uncomfortable beds/pillows, room was not properly cleaned after previous guest My husband and I went to Vegas to have a weekend away and to celebrate my birthday. We were excited to try a new hotel on the strip. I read reviews before booking and requested a room on a lower floor (to avoid noise from the club above) Unfortunately that wasn't available at check in and we were put on the top floor. Our room was clean and well-kept, though felt a little stuffy and humid. It was also very dark even with all the lights on. We were looking forward to a good sleep but didn't get one. We could hear the club music thumping from above, we had very noisy neighbors who kept coming and going and yelling until 3:30am (not the hotel's fault, but the hallway noise could be heard loud and clear), the room got very hot so I had to get up in the middle of the night to open the window and turn on the air conditioning, the mattress sagged badly toward the middle and felt as though it was wrapped in plastic or something (crinkly and did not breathe - it reminded me of a hospital bed), and the pillows were hard and lumpy. I've never made a complaint at a hotel before, but the next morning I requested a new room on a lower floor because I knew we wouldn't be able to sleep otherwise. They apologized for the issues from the previous night and agreed to move us to a lower floor once a room became available. Several hours later they called to say the room was ready. When we got back to check into our new room we found someone else's room keys on the nightstand, a dirty glass with a spoon in it on the bathroom counter, open and used soap in the soap dish, all the toiletries except for a shampoo bottle missing, and garbage in the trash can. The room was clearly not checked over or cleaned since the previous guests left the room. We were grossed out but too tired to have to wait for yet another new room so just went to sleep hoping that the room would be properly cleaned the next morning. It was cleaned but none of the toiletries were replaced for the remaining two nights of our stay and we just used shampoo to wash our hands. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were much more comfortable. At check out when we were asked about our stay and I mentioned these issues, they offered to refund one night of resort fees for our inconvenience. I was told I would receive a survey by email so that I could let them know about the issues we had, but it never came. Overall, I think if we had been placed on a lower floor from the beginning and the room had been properly cleaned for us it could have been a great stay. Unfortunately, the issues we had were disappointing and we will not likely return.

"Living the Vegas Dream."

The Cromwell has the old school feel that Vegas is losing due to the size of these megahotels. It is the people that make the trip more thatn anything else. From the house car drivers Steve and Gaspar. To Michael at bellman with 30 years experience in the business. To Sidney at the front desk taking personal care of guests. The casino staff is top notch. Housekeeping and turndown service takes care of the details also. Fabulous place.

Most definitely stay here if you are looking for a more intimate, personalized stay than other resorts on the strip where you can be lost among the thousands. Table limits remained reasonable through the weekend and employees became like friends during our stay. Location can't be beat!

Breakfast was 5 stars, one word amazing! Customer service was 5 stars, katie at front desk was super nice Room decor 5 stars, especially beautiful bathroom Complimentary drinks for guests (coffe, tea and others) 5 stars Housekeeping crew 5 stars super nice. 2 areas to improve would be sound barrier in the room, and more lights in the room. On the side note, we did not see the swimming pool. Overall, we were impressed.
