"Fantastic stay"

Had a brilliant stay here as a couple. Great location on the strip and one of the best value hotels with great quality for a good price. If you are planning to lay by the pool, you will need to literally be there when it opens to grab a bed! Towels are available and there's great service for drinks all day. Likewise with the volcano, get there early to grab a spot before the tour groups arrive.. We found there was always a long queue at The Pantry for breakfast, the food was amazing though! We also tried the breakfast buffet which was good. The casino was good and I liked how they pump out tropical scents to cover the dirty smoky casino smell you get in the other hotels! A tip would be never to pay into nightclubs like 1OAK, you will see promoters all over the hotel who will put you on the guest list free before 1am. He then texted us every day from then on with guest lists for that day, including Wet Republic, Omnia and Hakkasan. Rooms were brilliant and have everything you need, we had a fantastic view of the strip with the Venetian directly opposite and Paris' Eiffel Tower just down the road! Would definitely return.

"It's ok."

We stayed 2 times in the last year. Last March everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay, our room was nice and had a great view. quiet rooms and hallways. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the strip with easy access to each end. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed our stay. I love the aquarium at the front desk and the volcano is really cool. We brought my brother and sister in law back in November for an adult getaway. We were excited to bring them to the Mirage because we had enjoyed it so much before. On the first morning, our tub backed up and black stuff came out. There was no hot water so the shower was cold. We just assumed we were showering during the busiest shower times or something. Then Mlife messed up and we spent 6 hours the first morning of our 3 day vacation at the mlife desk because somehow they had me registered on 2 seperate accounts. We were unable to redeem ANY rewards we had spent 6 months collecting through the mlife apps. I will never be able to redeem mlife rewards because the game manufacturer is impossible to get ahold of to remove the duplicate account and mlife can't do it. It ruined a big chunk of our trip between the time spent at the mlife desk and the added cost for the rewards we had wanted to redeem (2 dolphin sanctuary tickets, free drinks, and the free buffet all for 2 people ended up being over $150 we had to spend additional). Cravings was good, although I felt it was a bit understocked the november trip, but still enough that we got our fill. So overall it was ok. We enjoyed the dolphin santuary, we spent some time at the pool which was nice, but in November the water was a bit chilly (not that I expected any less), but I could have sat there all day. The bars are overpriced, but that's the case for Vegas anywhere. I will probably choose a different hotel next time. The black goop put us off a bit. And since we don't get rewards through mlife there isn't a benefit for us anymore.

"Join MLife Get the Penthouse Suite!"

The Mirage has been around a while, and we have stayed there many times for conventions, but I really need to brag on them for our past visit. We joined MLife (best thing ever) and have become Platinum members, so we booked our room through the MLife site rather than with our convention. We got a terrific rate on a one-bedroom penthouse suite. Along with the suite, we got a very special check-in and we had access to the lounge area for suite guests that had unlimited water, soda, beer and wine throughout the day (and honestly served as a great respite when we returned from our activities outside). We went every day! Concierge in the VIP lounge was terrific and took care of all of our needs. When you book suites, you have special elevators that go to the A,B,C,D and E floors and they are always very quick! (You need to put your key card in to select your floor.) We never saw our housekeepers, they came and went and never bothered us once and always had it ready. There is a refrigerator (small) and bar area in the suite so you can have your own drinks. Large bathroom, walk-in closet and nice dressing area. I highly recommend upgrading, it wasn't that much more, but we got incredible service and really did feel like a VIP.

"Bad Hotel"

Stayed here for two nights for a convention and did not like the hotel at all. Everything was outdated and in need of repair. Bathroom sink had a huge crack in it (room 20043) and the cold water flowed super slow. Toilet seat had a cigarette ash burn mark which was very unsightly and the tub drain had rust around it. The bathroom felt cramped and dirty. I was charged $36 resort fee for slow wifi, and $10 a night for parking. Bed was not bad and center strip location was good, with lots of places to eat close by. Would not stay here again.

"First time in Las Vegas"

Our kids bought us tickets to see Elton John in Las Vegas for Christmas! We used trip advisor with booking our hotel! Which was a smart choice! The Mirage is a beautiful hotel! Very friendly staff that liked their jobs! We ate most of our meals in the hotel, we really enjoyed the Pantry Restaurant. Colleen a waitress who served us a couple of times was very good! We also ate at the California Kitchen where they serve a good Caesar salad, and we enjoyed their fresh wild mushroom pizza. Our only complaint would be the price of a take out coffee anywhere on the property was over $5 which is pretty steep! Apparently the days of cheap food in Vegas is over, I can say this is certainly true!
