In feite is Palm Springs een lint van 9 plaatsjes. Vooral de vele uitstekende golfbanen genieten grote bekendheid.
"Loved most of our stay "
Never been to Palm Springs before. Kinda blown away by the mountains and desert views. Very nice hotel, quiet clean room, decent shower, parking, fire pits, pool. Hot tub didn't always work. People were super professional and friendly BUT the waitress and bartender where overwhelmed every evening by a not very big crowd. Could have used an extra bartender and wait person each night. Usually took about 20 minutes at the bar to get served. Waitress never appeared outside so we had to go wait online at the bar. Come on folks. Get it together. If people are gathered around the fire pits then maybe some extra help is a good idea??? There are probably better hotels to check out next trip.
This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in Palm Springs. Super easy to get to, walking distance from the shops and restaurants and super friendly staff. I love the pool area. Even though it is alive with people, I'm always able to find a lounge chair.... even the busiest time of day!
"Great experience "
We stayed at the Renaissance because our son had a triathlon at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta Ca. We are Marriott rewards members. We had a great experience. We had a really quiet room which is very important to me.All of the hotel staff was great. Our Room was very clean , and overlooked the pool.Amore that works the buffet in the morning was fantastic. We needed to leave to go to the race at 6:05 a.m. And he got us everything to go so we wouldn't be late for the race.He was a delight. The hotel was a ways from lake but it was worth it for the great night sleep.I always ask for a high floor because they are quiet. We would definitely stay there again.
"Not the Marriott I know..."
I hadn't been to Palm Springs for an extended stay in many years, and of course we picked the launch weekend for the BNP tournament. The Renaissance was the only option. Overall it was disappointing at best...in almost every dimension. Clearly there isn't a lot of training for service personnel...one of the shuttle drivers shouted at me that he was too busy and couldn't talk...the poolside bar attendants were openly arguing with each other about who was serving whom...and when I asked a reception worker about a good place to eat, she said "I really don't know...", and walked away. On the other hand, the inside bar tenders were great and the service staff for breakfast were very nice...despite being in the weeds. The room AC was preset not to go below 69...which would only lower the room temp to 72. That of course makes complete sense when the only blanket on the bed is a heavy comforter. I had techs in the room (which was 200 yds from the elevator) 3 times with only one guy able to temporarily adjust for a lower setting. Laying on the bed sweating in the middle of the night was a blast... The pool ran out of towels, the gate in/out of the parking lot required a valet to run over and manually assist every time I used it, our room never got cleaned one day, and on another no towels were provided. All this for over $300/night. I'm not even sure how to end the review, but having worked for Marriott for nearly 10 yrs -- Mr. Marriott Snr would be rolling over in his grave at this level of service with his name on it.
"Beautiful Lobby and Pool Area but.."
This was my first time to the hotel. Check in was friendly, fast, and efficient. The lobby is beautiful with multi colored nights. The pool area is very nice as well. The one area of improvement I would say is the decor in the rooms. While the bed was comfy and had a modern headboard and the bathroom seems to have been updated, the carpet and furniture seemed very dated, 90's ish, and in need of a light makeover. I would still rate this a very good high quality hotel.
