Unfortunately we stay only one night but this hotel is really wonderful. Big and very clean room; staff always smiling and available. Nice experience!! Key West is gorgeous and the sunset party was great!! Full of shops and restaurant, you have only to choose in a large variety of things....

"Very nice"

Was very happy with all the services. Friendly from the minute we arrived until we left. Large rooms. Wish it was not $25 to have car parked though. Did not try food. But heard it was very nice. Bar was very nicely designed.

"Love this place...great location and great people!"

Location is absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of Key West, right in the heart of Duval Street, and pretty much a central location to everything you want to do. I was told the rooms were small, but the one I had was wonderful and spacious. I was told it might be noisy since it was facing Duval Street, but it wasn't anymore noisy than any other hotel. While the location was great, my room was great, probably the only thing better was the service. The concierge was extremely helpful and so was everyone I interacted with at the front desk. The GM, Mike Rice, was extremely courteous and was greeting people in the lobby and just making you feel like you were their most important guest. It is a rarity nowadays, but the LaConcha Hotel customer service is still the most important thing to them...and it shows. If I'm ever back in Key West, I will definitely stay here again.

"Overpriced Location, Location, Location"

Just returned from Key West for a quick Valentine's Day get away. I used points for our stay and sadly was not able to be upgraded as all of the suites had been taken. Because of the holiday weekend I just accepted that was probably the case, but after 3 days there, we didn't really see enough people for me to believe that to be 100% true. Oh well, it's the start of vacation right? . . . Thinking that this wouldn't be a problem as the room we got instead was a double queen bed, we just took the room we booked. Hahaha, these are not queen beds people! 2 extremely uncomfortable and lumpy single beds crammed into a room, but at least we were overlooking the pool! I looked at my girlfriend and said "Happy Valentine's Day baby, please don't kill me since we can't sleep together in the same bed on this romantic get away!" The Arrival: The bell man appeared to be very attentive and polite, always saying hello and goodbye as we came and went. I always appreciate that. We didn't rent a car so I'm not sure how much nightly parking was, but I'm sure it wasn't cheap. Parking period in Key West is expensive. The Room: You know how when a couple of things go wrong and then you really start paying attention to the bad things and it kind of spirals out of control? Yeah, that is kind of what happened here. I think they hired some visually challenged people to repaint the interior of the rooms because it looked like they just slapped it all together quickly. There was blue paint on the white ceiling, white paint on the mirror in the bathroom, and really shoddy trim work. The carpet had stains everywhere (hence the dark colors of the room probably), and the walls were paper thin which lead to a lovely orchestra of moans on Sunday AM around 5 AM coming from next door. It was Valentine's Day weekend after-all. The plumbing and fixtures are dated and tired and overall the bathroom is not accommodating for 2 people to be in there at the same time. The Bar: The drinks were extremely overpriced and watered down, but I guess you could easily chalk that up to being in "Key West", but even by Key West standards they were pretty high. We were supposed to get 2 free drinks because they couldn't upgrade us, but when we went back down to the bar, the employee who promised them to us just ignored us, so we just paid and left. The Pool: The pool is extremely small, but was rather refreshing and we were able to find chairs no problem. They have a bar at the pool, but after paying $28 for two drinks the first night, we decided to pass on getting our booze there. I did love that view overlooking the pool from our room though as we were able to time our move just right to get said chairs. The Entry: The lobby is really nice, and is extremely inviting for some relaxation and reprieve from "The Crawl on Duval". They had coffee and tea in the AM, and always had cold flavored water anytime of day. Breakfast was not included in the stay, but I was already aware of that from prior reviews. The bar attached to the front (Wine-O's) looked very posh as well, but we never went in and sat down. Cool photo op though as they have these really beautiful red couches to sit on, especially if you can channel your inner Kate Winslet from Titanic, and "paint me like one of your French Girls, Jack". The Check Out: Lastly, upon check out morning we had a bill arrive for $203 for "spa services", of which we NEVER went to. I took the bill down to the front desk and advised them that we never used the spa so I was curious as to why the bill was slid under my door. The poor girl at the front desk didn't know why either and after some discussion with the on-site manager I was told that they would call the spa upon it's opening and then get back to me, which they did. Not only via email, but they also called while we were at the airport to ensure me that the charges were removed from my credit card. That was very much appreciated, especially when you ask them to do something and they actually do it. All in all, due to it's location I would consider staying again, just not in a double bed room, and not in the lower section of the hotel. If you're going to stay here, make sure you ask for a king bed or larger suite, higher floor, know that nothing is really included and you'll pay for every little thing, but the location really can't be beat.

"Great Location!"

The hotel is in a great location on Duval street. Beautiful lobby and wine bar. Rooms were clean and I didn't find them that small. The fan noise and the overall ventilation noises we could hear from our room were awful! Because of this, sleeping was almost impossible for me. If they would have been steady noises maybe it would have been fine but they weren't. We didn't hear any noises from Duval street although I'm sure our fan issues would have covered them. It was terrible. Other than this, I loved the hotel.
