"The beach service was wonderful."
We are currently at the fountainbleau for a conference this week. When we arrived our room wasn't ready yet so we decided to take a stroll down to the beach. We were greeted by Massimo who accommodated us with a few chairs and an umbrella. Woody was wonderful and very polite. He recommended us a pitcher of blueberry mojito which was excellent. 10/10 will definitely be returning.
Our 3rd trip this year, and very surprise to see the new addition to the Beach. Always a great time, love the drinks and both Woody who took great care of us during the week, and Diego S again last day of our trip. Thanks to the Chef at La cote for making sure our food was gluten free. See you next time, Maria
We went for a bachelorette weekend and I'll assure you all we will not be returning. Not only were we given a run around on pricing, but even when we talked to "manager/supervisor" we were treated like children who couldn't figure out simple math. We had it in writing and email the exact amount, and the fact that we had a few girls leave a day early taken into account, and they were still incredibly rude and wouldn't even try to make any sort of agreement. It was just pathetic. Not worth the money!
"Worth every penny!!!!"
Going to keep this short and simple. My trip started out bad and turned out great. Ricky at front desk, Gregory the bell man, and my masseuse at the spa (do not remember her name) were all amazing. Will definitely be back based off of customer service alone!!! Thank you fontaine bleau for thinking of your guest when hiring your employees!! Will be back soon!
"Posh, Expensive, not for the budget midned"
Cons: I went here with a friend who was attending a seminar, our room was in the Versailles Tower which was a bit of a pain because we had a lot of walking to do just to get to a cup of coffee in the morning (walk across 2 lobbies and ramps). Our room was nice but not furnished very well. The bathroom had just a sink with no counter space - we had to remove the towels from the back of the toilet tank to put some of our toiletries there which left us with another dilemma, nowhere to hang the towels, there were no hooks at all. Usually there is a vanity in the bathroom or in the room. There was just 1 dresser/desk combo with 4 small drawers. There was a full length mirror on the wall just outside the bathroom, but again, no counter space or vanity. We had to take turns getting ready in the one mirror. Our AC kept shutting off and the room would get very warm, so up and down we went turning it back on. For the price, I expected a little more comfort. We were also charged $12 for chips from the mini bar that we didn't eat. Drinks are $21 and up at the lobby bar, at LaCote a turkey Panini and 1 drink cost me $45 - of course these prices include the 18% gratuity that they automatically add on to your bill. It was a very expensive 3 days. We didn't go to the pool because there never seemed to be any free chairs available, you had to rent the round beds or cabanas and frankly I wasn't spending that kind of money. The beach had more availability, however, if you didn't rent a "bed" you were basically squeezed out of a view and access to the ocean - they would put additional chairs to the right and left of the beds thereby blocking a path and we would have to walk to the end of the row to get to the ocean. It was annoying that each day they would charge different prices for the beds. On Thursday they were $75, Friday $125 and Saturday $150. However, the boys that set up your chairs with lounge covers/towels were very nice and attentive as were the waiters. I didn't make it to Liv but heard it wasn't great, $30 cover charge so I wasn't willing to blow it. We stayed at the bar in the lobby Friday and Saturday and had a great time there. PROS: All the staff wherever we went throughout the hotel were gracious and attentive, very nice and helpful. Front desk, concierge, maintenance, housekeeping, cabana boys, beach boys, etc. I am of the Frugal variety so this place wasn't for me, there were plenty of posers so be prepared for the "Miami Chic" dress to impress and bring plenty of cash.
