Our suite was beautiful. Modern and clean with a great view. Staff in hotel were amazing from start to finish. The breakfast was fantastic, totally stuffed our faces haha. Rooftop pool was our favourite place, hands down. Peaceful and again, the view was spectacular. One of the guys brought us out a lovely fruit platter and really looked after us (I wish I could remember his name). Plenty of places to eat nearby. Bal Harbour has some great places to eat but this is quite an affluent part of Miami so the prices are a little steep. Having said that, in my eyes it was definitely worth every penny and I would love to return in the near future! I get very upset thinking about being here! Amazing memories! Thanks everyone! :)

"Great place to stay."
The hotel is very clean. The rooms are modern and recently renovated. We had a bay view room with a spectacular view of the bay, Collins Avenue and the beach. The service was excellent as well as the pool and beach area. The beach is easy to access. We loved the hotel. Special thanks to Dian, Osmany, Malcolm and Mauricio for making our stay better.
"Not a good Stay"
We booked this hotel with our children and selected a full ocean view larger room to accommodate the four of us. When we arrived the reception barely said hello and proceeded to check us in. After waiting through the check-in process, paying and awaiting receipt of the room key, the hotel reception said that our room was not available because they were changing the carpets because of mold. He then said they had no other room in our category and we were being 'downgraded' to a smaller room with partial ocean view. We were shocked and told him surely our room not being available is not our issue and the appropriate thing to do would be to upgrade us at your cost. He said they had no other rooms available and dismissed us. We then said we wanted to see the Manager. He finally went in the back of reception to speak to the Manager and after a long wait we were advised that they 'found' a room and we were being upgraded. Why couldn't this have been the initial response. The room did have beautiful ocean views. The beds themselves are incredibly short. Mine and my husbands feet were hanging off the end of the bed (and we are average height). The room also didn't feel clean (toilet was dirty upon arrival). Also, it would appear that the hotel allows outside pizza restaurants and all manner of restaurant operators on to the guest floors judging by the number of flyers shoved under our room door. This is a security issue. The hotel was having work done and there was yellow caution tape everywhere including around the pool and at the entrance. The hotel really ought to let guests know that there is work being undertaken. In general we found the staff unhelpful and not welcoming. There are many other nicer hotels in Miami Beach.
I have been coming to your hotel every year for 3 years for my anniversary. Every year it gets worse. I LOVED this hotel the first time I came. Let's start by sharing right at check in time. I booked a King Ocean Front Suit. When I arrived to they told me my "Double Ocean Front Suit" was ready to check in. I told them that is not what I booked. They proceeded to tell me that this room cost more and that the system just randomly upgrades people sometime. Well, for me it was not an "upgrade" my husband is 6"4 230 pounds, how are we both supposed to fit on a full sized bed? They continued to say well he can sleep in one bed and I can sleep in the other. ITS MY ANNIVERSARY!!! WHY WOULD I WANT TO SLEEP IN SEPARATE BEDS ON MY ANNIVERSARY??!! Their whole story about the system randomly "upgrading people" is a bunch of B.S because when I called the night before and talked to the people in reservations they said that the king ocean front suits were overbooked for the next 9 days.....so that means randomly move us into a double bed with out asking us first? We usually get a nice gift from you guys on our anniversary....not to my surprise we received nothing this year. I really did love this hotel but it has taken a turn for the worse. Room cost more and more every year but the service gets worse and worse every year. The front desk staff have terrible attitudes. I mean I stay for at LEAST 6 days EVERY YEAR, so you can imagine how much money we pay out....just to treated like we don't matter. I'm sorry but I am VERY disappointed. Not to mention, the room was COVERED WITH TINY LITTLE ANTS!! Everywhere!! I had one crawling on my face while putting makeup on.
