"No air and no water. Wasn't informed prior to check in. No return response to request for refund."

The location is great. The room was spacious and the King suite was very nice. Beds were comfortable. I was traveling on business and it was hot when we checked in. We commented to the front desk that it was really uncomfortably hot in the lobby. She said they were working on a water repair and it would be fixed shortly. She did not tell us the AC was also out in JULY in the SOUTH. When we came down later to complain about the heat, we were told that the water shut off turned of the AC as well. The water came back on a few hours later but it took all night long for the AC to be able to cool it down. Neither of us traveling in different rooms got any sleep. My companion goes everywhere with a fuzzy sweater, even in the summer, and she was too hot to sleep. The heat made me sick on my stomach and I had interviews in the room. With no water I could not flush the toilets. And we were all uncomfortably hot. When the water came back on finally and I got in the shower the water was brown. Understandable, and I should have checked first honestly. I probably would not have complained but I requested to speak with the property manager before I left and he was in a meeting. I requested a phone call and never got one. I got an email offering 1k spg reward points but I am not a fan of the chain at this point so that wasn't really an appeasing offer. I replied to the email offer of points with a request for a phone call and copied the other manager listed on the website as well. Two weeks later and still no response. I logged onto Sheraton main site and requested a call and refund concerning my stay but I have not had a returned message from them either. I have only complained about a hotel stay twice in my life and I am in my fifties. This complaint could have easily been handled with even a simple apology. The front desk supervisor upon my checkout never apologized or smiled even though I had a big genuine smile on my face when I requested to please speak with the manager. I was simply told that there were signs up about the water being out and I should have seen them. There was one small letter sized hand written sign posted near the elevators...but that was AFTER we checked in and said nothing about the AC problems. I would never write off an entire chain based on the experience at one location - but the lack of response and customer service and disregard for any conversation or apology for a company this size is baffling to me. There was a lot more about this stay that was problematic but that is the gist of it. We were surrounded by similar properties at this location and I wish I had chosen any one of them other than this one. Also, 10.00 to park each night and 4.00 for a water bottle...even when there is NO water turned on. I had to purchase a 4.00 water bottle to brush my teeth.

"Very average. Rooms are worn. Nice location for Suntrust."

I always research on Tripadvisor before staying somewhere. Here were my notes on this hotel. -Check in- if you check in at 3 pm there will be no room to park anywhere. the circle drive is tiny and cramped. -parking- VERY tight parking garage. if you drive in the front you are on the bottom level. if you drive in the rear of the hotel, you are put onto the top level of the garage. that entrance is via the mall parking lot. -room keys- they deactivate SO FREAKING EASILY!! it was very annoying! and no I did not keep it next to my credit card or anything. -elevators- you have to insert your room keys a couple times every now and then before it turns green so you can select your floor. -suntrust stadium- very convenient. you take the sidewalk that is on the Sheraton side of the street under the freeway and then cross where the sidewalk is. it took us no time. very convenient!!! -club lounge- we paid for the club lounge via the app. when we arrived we were told it was only for platinum members. then I told them I already paid for it. super weird. that was a first at a Sheraton. I have not had that problem before. -food- there are no vending machines. the little store inside Sheraton will be closed when you return from your event if you go to something at suntrust. you are very limited. you have waffle house which will be slammed, ihop, steak and shake, and a couple places depending on the time of night. -bathroom- awesome shower head. best water pressure ive had in a while- felt exfoliating. lol don't let anyone flush while you are showering. you will be burned!!! room- good room size, but worn. you can tell they stay very busy and at capacity. bedroom- there are practically NO OUTLETS!! you will be plugging your phones in across the room or in the bathroom. bed- Sheraton linens rock but they are on a worn mattress. staff- all of the staff was nice. ann was the nicest front desk lady. there was a jerk that worked late night front desk. I didn't want to bother her with any other questions. the lady that worked in the club lounge was odd- we were there right before it closed. she made it clear she could not wait until we left. I felt bad. we rushed through our meal. have fun travelers. I hope this helps! this is a convenient location hotel. just not the nicest.

"Great Stay!"

This hotel is conveniently located to SunTrust Park, Cumberland Mall (lots of great restaurants---The Cheesecake Factory, Maggiannos, among others), I-75 and other places. My husband attended a conference here and I tagged along; I'm so glad I did! The finishes inside our King suite were very nice from the granite countertops at the bar and in the bathroom to the pocket doors, to the TVs in both the bedroom and living area. It also had wonderful AC for that humid GA summer heat! We would enjoy staying here again!

"Great place to stay"

This Sheraton is conveniently located to the Cobb Galleria, the Cumberland Mall, SunTrust Park, the Battery, 75 and 285. I was a little disappointed with the pool. The rooms were great! The large rooms included a sitting area with sofa bed and chair, mini fridge, bar sink, large handicap accessible bathrooms, two tv's, desk.

"Beautiful hotel room, on site restaurant/bar/snacks, free shuttle, amazing!"

This place was about a one mile walk from SunTrust Park. We came for the Metallica concert and ended up walking back to the hotel after which was great because traffic was a nightmare. The room was really nice! We got the King suite and the bed was SUPER DUPER comfy. The bathroom was lovely and the toilet was separate from the vanity/sink which I love. We had a great experience.
