"Place is awesome"

Good Lord, where do I begin? From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed and right at home. The front desk personnel were great and very accommodating. I showed up almost 3 hours before check in time and still was able to get into my room right away! The beds were comfy, the pool was clean, the fitness center is always open, and the food there was way above any other hotel restaurant I've ever been to. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. 5 stars!!!

"Lovely weekend in Atlanta"

I came to Atlanta for the weekend of October 14-16, 2016 to see a friend sing in the Atlanta Opera at the Cobb Center. I chose this hotel as it was close to the venue. What a wonderful place. The hotel staff was as friendly and helpful as one could wish. I was given early access to my room (as I had been travelling since 4am that morning from NYC). The room was spacious and beautifullymaintained. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the Cumberland Mall and other shopping establishments. It was a wonderful weekend and I would highly recommend staying here (tho not close to the airport).

"Nice but not close to the airport"

I booked by searching Atlanta airport hotels and it was over ten miles away. The cab ride was a costly mistake, and made for an even earlier wake up for our rescheduled flight. Despite that, the room was clean, quiet and breakfast was good. Had a nice walk from there to a local mall with lots of dinner options.

"Nice big room and fairly good location"

I stayed on this hotel while attending a conference in Atlanta. I was very pleased with the room, for the price I paid it was very spacious with a separate lounge area, small kitchen type area, and a nice big bathroom and shower. As I was there on business, I was also pleased it had a decent sized desk in the room. The room was decorated in a modern style, and was clean and well looked after. I felt it could have helped to have slightly more plug sockets, but I do find this in many hotel rooms in other countries, too. The hotel was in walking distance of a decent shopping centre, and there where also enough restaurants within walking distance if you do not have a car. It is also close to a local bus route. I thought the breakfast was slightly overpriced, but again, this does seem to be common in a lot of hotels. I had a good stay here, and would stay here again.

"Hurricane Evacuation Trip "

Spent a long weekend here. Overall it is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and our suite was very comfortable for a family of three. We stayed on the 12 floor at the end of one of the corridors which was mainly quite except for a few nights as a group of young adults were slamming doors and smoking until late. We reported the incidents a couple of times but nothing appeared to happen. As a dog lover I understood the influx of dogs was due to the hurricane, however it left the lobby smelling as well as the elevators and barking dogs behind room doors throughout the hotel. The worst thing I saw was a lady visibly scared to get into the evaluators with a dog and although she was first in the queue the owner he was oblivious to her distress and jumped in before her leaving her in the lobby queuing for another lift. Although there was 3 lifts we were left one day stuck for over half an hour trying to get down, we walked from the 12 to the 3 floor were we were unable to utilise anymore stairs as the door to them is alarmed. The elevators often misbehaved and missed floors, jerked a lot and the lights even went out on one occasion. This we reported to the front desk, I even started avoiding the said elevator. I would have given the hotel 4 stars if it wasn't for these issues.
