"Great location"

The front desk staff was awesome during the whole stay. Candy jar was there each day. Morning breakfast was very complete. This is a great location. Easily walkable to Broadway, Vanderbilt and the mid town area.

"Convenient location at a lower-mid range price"

Explore Nashville from here if you want a cheaper place to stay. I stayed here with my boyfriend on our first trip to Nashville and we had everything we needed here. Room: It's reasonably clean. We had a comfortable king bed, so I didn't experience the uncomfortable beds in some other reviews. (then again I prefer a firm mattress) They installed a nice showerhead in the tub that had good water pressure and even gives you the water temperature. Price: It fit within our $120 budget. They always list the cheaper 2 queen bed prices so we had to pay more for the 1 king bed. Breakfast: We wanted a room with a microwave and fridge, so our breakfasts were basically leftovers from eating out the previous day. The hotel breakfast looked typical, so we avoided it and were completely satisfied with our microwaved leftovers. :) Location: The location is the best part of this place. It's a little over a mile walk (20 minutes for us) to get well into downtown, and we like walking so it worked for us. Or you can uber it or take the bus. There's also a public bike station within a 1 minute walk. These bike stations are all over the area. We biked into downtown one day (took about 10 min). Airport was a $12 uber ride ($20 during rush hour). The Gulch is only a few minutes' walk away (it's more trendy and upscale. Go to Peg Leg Porker for amazing barbecue). Some nice bars/live music on Demonbreun only a few minutes' walk away in the other direction. If you're too lazy to trek to downtown, this lineup of bars is really nice. Good restaurants all in walking distance. (Hattie B's is a must for hot chicken! DeSanos was good for pizza). 12 South is a bus or bike ride away (we planned on biking, but then it snowed. Not going to take our weak SoCal butts out on an icy ride). Went on a morning run to Centennial Park to check out the Parthenon. Basically, we had no problems exploring without a car. The only thing that we did not find within walking distance was a CVS or somewhere to buy water. The tap water smelled funky. I would stay here again. I liked that we did NOT stay in downtown because we could explore other areas like music row, midtown, the gulch, and 12 south, and still get to downtown. buy water

"New Years in Nashville "

Fun little weekend get away! Wear a comfy pair of shoes there's a ton of walking and stairs inside the bars!! Music Row was less than we expected, however, Broadway and 2nd were fun to bar crawl and take in live music, drinks, and food!

"Neat Quirky Hotel with GREAT Location"

This hotel is in a great location! We were able to walk to and from downtown and to the Lower Broadway area with no problem. Room was nice, clean, and had kind a of non-traditional layout and design that was really cool. The lady (forget her name, but she was the assistant manager) at the front desk was great and let us check in an hour and a half early. Will definitely stay here again!

"front desk clerk was awesome"

The location was perfect for where we were going and what we were doing. We took an uber to the venue (which if you have never done do it, DO) We were able to indulge in some late night pizza at a hole in the wall within walking distance at two in the a.m. The only complaint that I had was that the shower was a little uncomfortable, (un level) and the shower head would only spray one way.....I'm short. AND THE BREAFAST REALLY SUCKED. NOONE LIKES BURNT POWERDERED EGGS. SORRY.
