"Worst stay at a Best Western ever"
The bathroom was disgusting. tub backed up with 4 inches of water during shower, tub faucet leaked, wallpaper falling off, ceiling falling down, sink faucet was very hard to turn on. would not go there again!
"Can't beat location"
Location-location-location, can't get any closer to the park than staying here. Inn has various options for stays in hotel/motel /cabins etc. Easy check in, great staff through out the gift shop, restaurant and inn itself. Offers both an all you can eat buffet and full menu with beer and wine. A bit pricey but good. Room was a typical hotel style layout with 2 comfortable beds, dresser, TV, clean, good water pressure in shower. Has everything you need right in the area, plenty of parking, gas station across the street that rents ATV'S as well. Overall a solid choice for the $
"Not worth the money! No Vegetarian food"
During winter I guess there is no option but to stay at Ruby's Inn. I was excited about my stay (my name being Ruby too) but it was not a great stay. 1. How can the swimming pool and hot pool not be connected to all the rooms through a walkway. How can someone be dressed up in a swimming costume and walk in this winter cold weather after long hikes in Brcye walk in the open. The hot pool was so tiny that only a single person can be comfortable to sit inside. 2. How can you have NO Vegetarian food to be served in such a huge hotel. Forget being vegan. There is no Vegetarian option besides salad (which is not my preference in this winter). With no breakfast included in the room package, I was left with oatmeal and bread. Only subway for LUNCH and DINNER for my 3 day stay. Why do vegetarians have to starve always. 3. After getting my room cleaned, there was no bottle of Moisturizer kept in my room and no room service for someone to provide it. In winters you should be sensible to at least keep one bottle of moisturizer per person and refill on every visit after cleaning. 4. The rooms were old. How can you have stone floor near the sink and in the toilet in such cold weather. 5. They gave no maps or guidance for any recommendations on the hikes at Bryce. The only thing was the room was well insulated. It was overall a very disappointing stay.
Food-to-go at the restaurant was great although the restaurant receptionist was not made aware of which items were still available. Had to wait for at least 10 minutes until I was informed that the item I ordered was no longer available. That restaurant receptionist seems detached that night. Overall, experience was satisfactory. Check-in first before unloading your stuff since the assigned room might be in another building far from the check-in building.
"Open in off season"
The title explains why we eat there every night of our visit. We could not find anywhere else. Our first meal was disappointing. My friend had over-cooked pasta and I had a very average steak. The Hoodoo beer was good though. Breakfast the next day was OK, and the dinner on the second night was a great improvement on the first evening. Our server was more on-the-ball than our first helper and he listened carefully to our preference on the pasta, which I ordered, and it turned out tis time to be al dente, with a very tasty sauce. My friend's spicy shrimp also went down well. Overall a patchy experience, but was getting better with each occasion.
