"Bad service at check in desk"

My friends and I received really bad service at check in desk. One of my friends has the priority membership, and we go to priority line together. We just have two separate bookings but we booked this trip together. The check-in guy Daniel, refused to check in for my boyfriend and me, and requested us to go to regular line. That line is about at least 40min wait time. And there is no one at priority check in line. He can just do us a favor because we are a group. Obviously, that guy did this on purpose. He just doesn’t want to help us check in! I feel discriminated. Bad service ever!! !!!

"Slipping from its original modern luxury "

After about 5 stays here in 4 years, the Aria became my “go-to” hotel in the strip. The rooms were always so quiet and you’d melt in the bed. But staying here this weekend and the beds have gotten old and lumpy. My sheets feel worn out and bumpy. And - maybe it’s just my room location - it’s noisy. I am so sad to lose this as my easy pick. Incidentally I am still here, and the hotel has offered to swap my mattress. We will see, but I still hate to have to deal with a hotel’s oversights while paying them good money.

"Excellent Stay"

Stayed here for a business meeting with 6 others. The hotel is beautiful but there were some down sides. The hall ways are so confusing to navigate. Had to wait to check in. The buffet is awesome. Starbucks sucks in the first place but the 15-20 minute line made it worst. The pool areas were Awesome as was the wait staff there. Thankfully I wasn't there for a view as my room overlooked a parking garage. All in all a very nice resort!

"Modern Hotel"

Stayed here 6 nights arrived late at night a quick check-in but, did'nt like the $600 dollars you have to put down against your room. We had a deluxe 2 bed queen room but found the carpet dirty in places so complained next morning and was offered another one which is fine but you have to pack your cases again losing time, we think we were given this room because of our late check-in, we found the new room great comfy beds big bathroom and very clean, we found all of the staff very polite except on gaming tables checking ID no please or thankyou from them especially security. We had buffet meal in hotel which was very good and also had meals at 2 other restaurants in hotel also very good, we used the pool a couple of times nice and clean but hardly any sunbeds if you go down at 12 o clock onwards free water from machines and free towels, the hotel does,nt lead directly onto strip you go through shopping centre or you can catch the sky train to other hotels, upon leaving hotel there is storage for cases etc if you have a evening flight they will also get you a taxi back to airport for about $15.

"Not User Friendly"

My out-of-town brother booked rooms at Aria to celebrate our mother's birthday. Here are my thoughts about that. Gem Bar will not comp drinks unless you have a player's card and are continuously playing. As in, don't even think about stopping to light a cigarette, check your phone, or make conversation with someone because you'll instantly be cut off. The bartender wasn't even polite about it. He would actually pour drinks and withhold them until the light stopped blinking (blinking means you are being a bad gambling robot!) They want you to press that button every few seconds or else. It's gross, and unfriendly, and if I am clearly being observed feeding my machine twenty dollar bills, and tipping well, just pour me a draft beer, dude. At one point I decided to go rogue and just pay for a drink and it cost me over $16 for a glass of cabernet. I've never felt less welcome at a bar. When I first entered my room the drapes flew open on their own and loud music started playing on tv. That's because the rooms are ultra hipster modern with amenities like ipads that control things. My ipad never did connect to the internet so I was left to stumble around in the dark pressing poorly labeled wall panels (what does "goodnight" do? It plunges you into darkness, ready or not!) The hallways are super confusing. I met many people along the way who were also desperate to locate the elevators. I saw so many couples standing there, staring (and swearing!) at the signs. The registration line took about forty minutes. A hotel employee was passing out bottled water, like a new ride at Disneyland, except a lot less fun. It was the only place I was able to get a drink because I certainly couldn't get one while playing the tables where a cocktail server took my order and never returned. Then, there was an issue with my key card that was finally solved after two trips to the front desk at one a.m. I'll just quote the girl at the front desk for you, "this is not the customer service agent's fault." I feel so welcome, Aria! Overall, no thanks, Aria. Your property is beautiful, and centrally located (something us locals don't really consider a perk) but with so many other choices and so many comped drinks elsewhere, I will not be back. The best thing about my stay at Aria was dinner at Beauty and Essex next door at Cosmo.
