I went to the LINQ Auto Museum / Collection. The classic cars they have there are very impressive and well maintained. If you are car classic enthusiasts, do not miss the chance to go there. Besides classic and olden days cars, they also have old petrol pumps.
We had a great trip-suites were spacious, modern and clean. Our casino hostess, Ivy, took excellent care of us as well in order to make sure we had a VIP experience. The location of the hotel puts you on the part of the strip with plenty of activities which are all in walking distance.
"Room with No view, few issues"
Room was OK... I had a great view of a cement wall. I had a few issues that were dealt with when brought to the attention of the Linq staff. Issues: 1. In-room safe didn't work until it was reset by a staff engineer. 2. Morning Housekeeping meeting held outside my room at 8:00am, Staff relocated the meeting the next two days. 3. the TV remote had some foreign material on it, while the remote was restocked in it's sleeve everyday they failed to notice the gunk... after pointing it out to the staff they took care of it. 4. I was over charged for Internet, the charge was reversed by calling the front desk (note they only allow 2 devices per resort fee). 5. Resort fee on Travelocity was $5 higher then displayed by the property. but the property was not disclosing the actual cost. Travelocity was showing the actual honest cost... the additional $5 the property charges they said were taxes and fees. 6. they lyft/uber pickup zone seems to have no cell service, so send your request before you enter the pickup (bus) zone.
"Manage Your Expectations"
Having just moved to Las Vegas and staying w/ family 30 mins from the strip, I wanted a night to myself. While making the reservation w/ Hotels.com was very easy, my overall experience at the LINQ was very disappointing for the following reasons: 1) Now that I live here, while I donâ€™t have my NV DL yet, I provided proof of residency. I was told my parking fee would be comped. As I checked out, the fee was on my bill. The woman handling my checkout could not have been any more â€œrudeâ€ (she wasnâ€™t listening to me, she spoke over me and seemed to imply that I was making up the story). I told her the person who checked me in wrote a note to the effect that my parking fee was to be waved. 2) I am pro-immigrant. The housekeeper assigned to my floor did not understand ANY ENGLISH. I wanted two extra garbage bags, but she didnâ€™t have a clue as to what I was asking for. 3) I had a friend coming to visit me before he was leaving town. It was very early in the morning, 6:30a (?). He needed a key to get to my room. I was told I had to GET UP, GET OUT OF BED and receive him downstairs. B/C I booked through a 3rd Party app, a key could not be provided. What I donâ€™t understand is why a temp key (or a one-time use key couldnâ€™t be provided - or he be given a code to get access to my floor). 4) Of course, when I went to leave the parking lot, there was an issue with my fee not being removed. And I had already been waiting 10 minutes in a line of cars to exit the garage. 5) There was no secure WiFi option. No passwords were required to use it. Not good. On a positive note, The room was clean. I was able too escape the family for 18 hours.
My stay there was fantastic. The staff very accommodating, the rooms clean, and the location fantastic:)A variety of different restaurants to please everyone â€˜s palette and pocket. A definite recommendation and a 4+ star:).
