"Modern Feel and Fun Atmosphere"
Room was clean. Service was good and staff was nice. Sports book just a little small. This place gets rocking at night with music area outside between Linq and Harrahs. Lots of shops and restaurants in Promenade. Great value.
"Cold Showers and Fire Alarms"
Our regular place in Vegas was booked up so we decided to try the Linq for our 4 night stay. The trip started out ok, the location of the Linq is really good but everything went downhill after that. The elevators would take up to 10 minutes just to stop on our floor, we actually use the fire stairs during our stay to avoid the wait. Two of the four evenings we had to take luke warm to cold showers, no hot water. The front desk was notified but nothing was done about it. Next was the fire alarm going off around 2 am and ringing for 30 minutes on our 3rd night. During our last night stay I went down to get our boarding passes printed up for our flight back, and was told it would cost us money to do that. Never heard of that even at a cheap roadside motel. Anyway the Linq has potential to be good place to stay, but our luck there was not good at all to say the least.
I booked the Linq with there being a mix of reviews, well I should have listened to the bad ones. I wanted to like this hotel its newer and looks nice BUT the bad outweighs the good. Check in was easy, when they ask if you want to upgrade for a view DO IT! We didnt and got a room facing a brick wall and a sliver of the parking garage. The cell service SUCKS, EVERYWHERE!! Restaurants, casino, rooms EVERYWHERE!! The first night wasn't bad but we did check in after 9pm. Elevators were SLOW if not broken, the ONE that was working was packed by the time it got to the 5th floor (ours) to go down, so we opted for the stairs. We went back to our rooms for a little re-coop about 4-5p and were suprised by a fire alarm that went on for a good 20 minutes (it was false) the next day we needed some more waters they give 2 free 10 oz bottles in room. We paid $6 for 2 more 10 oz bottles WTH! Our 2nd day we were gone all day only came back to sleep. We were leaving the next day Wednesday needed to leave the hotel by 8am set our alarm for 7am. But before we left the hotel decided to give us a going away present ANOTHER FIRE ALARM AT 2:30 AM!!!!! After getting over the little heart attack it gave us being awoke by it. It went on for a good 15 minutes before once again being told it was FALSE. Never were there apologies for the "False" alarms. The only saving grace was that they only charged for 1 out of the 3 days of resort fees since there were fire alarms the other 2. Side note the slots weren't very nice either.. I definitley won't be staying there again I think we would have been better off at the Flamingo or even Harrahs both right next to the Linq.
"Worst stay in Vegas EVER!!"
Only stay here if you want ... No hot water in the shower, no coffee maker in your room, the fire alarm to go off every day and at 2:30AM for 10 minutes each time, bathrooms in the conference area that are broken or clogged. I was here for a business trip, and it's unfortunate they chose this hotel. Worst stay in Vegas I've never had in my life. I will never be back here :(
"Give them another Try. I did. It was well worth it."
I had stayed at this property and had a not so good experience before. I expressed this to the manager on duty and she listened intently and let us know that things that had changed since my last visit. They extended an additional courtesy to myself and my husband that really was above and beyond. The room was clean and modern. Entertainment and food were enjoyable. I would suggest this property to anyone who is travelling and want to be in the mix of what's hip and happening.
