Los Angeles is een grote, uitgestrekte metropool en qua oppervlakte de grootste stad van het land. Los Angeles is eigenlijk een verzameling van woongebieden, samen goed voor net zoveel inwoners als heel Nederland! Het subtropische klimaat en de ligging aan de Pacific maken een bezoek aan Los Angeles het hele jaar door mogelijk.

"Comfortable but needs recycling policy"

We really enjoyed our stay during a recent conference. Very comfy room. The Starbucks was disappointing as they didn't seem up early--like 7:30. Terrific concierge and staff. The shuttle was really convenient, and we took ocean express bus to Manhattan Beach. By the way everything is more distant than we expected.

"Pleasant near the airport"

Stayed one night due to proximity to LAX and it was a good stay. Was able to check in before 11am due to room being ready which most hotels do not allow. The amenities were great, very large pool with hot tub and other items such as the fitness and business centre (not open on Sundays). There is even a Hertz rental right in the hotel which is convenient. There are two restaurants and a "sports bar" to chose from. They are typical hotel restaurants, over priced with average fare. The "value" restaurant offers traditional American fare and a reasonable price for a hotel and the breakfast buffet is worth the price because a-la-carte is literally only dollars cheaper but they do not have a great selection. The steakhouse as over-priced for what they offered and the sports bar had very expensive "American" brew and overly-expensive imports which are dollars cheaper everywhere else. They also did not have much in the way of appies, just mains. Ended up going to the liquor store around the corner and got something very cheap to have a couple of drinks with. Not much in walking distance, you'll need to Uber or cab anywhere.

"Conference visit"

Having spent may days shut in a hotel room with no free WiFi, I have come to appreciate the good old days! It seems strange to me that such an establishment does not offer free in-room WiFi. The location, otherwise, is quite comfortable. The pool are is spacious and the layout is nice. Being in a room with a balcony view of the pool I appreciated that the noise was not a problem. The service for the conference was nice, clean, and diligent in meeting the needs of the group hosting the conference. The staff was SUPER friendly! I couldn't get used to it! Everywhere I went someone was asking if I needed anything or if I was finding what I needed. It made me smile. The free shuttle to Manhattan Beach was a nice treat!

"Enjoyed the stay, great customer service"

I had the opportunity to stay at the Marriott LAX location for business. There were several company events occurring the days I stayed. It was very busy but the staff and level of cusotmer service I experienced was great! I had training materials that had to be brought from my car inside to hotel, It was a no hassle experience! The bellman were very courteous and helpful. As far as room accomodations are concerned, everything was clean and comfortable. For are stay we also had two hotel lunches and breakfast, which were healthy and delicious! Very pleased with overall stay!

"Totally failure! Nickel Dime you. Marriott Should be ashamed of themselves."

First off my wife and I did a Road Trip we went and stayed at the Marriott Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe that was Amazing! Absolutely totally spectacular. Will go again no doubt about it. Then we to the Courtyard in Spectrum to go to a concert was by far more impressed with the Courtyard there than this hotel. We stayed at the Marriott at LAX cause it was what I thought would be really nice and the decor and stuff was very fancy but the service was horrible and confusing. I was told before we got there about reserving on MarriottParking.com and I could save a lot but what no one told me was once I park thats it once I leave and take my ticket and pay for it and then put it in the machine it eats it and I have to start all over again with a new tickets and a whole new price even though i paid for the 3 days to park my car but there is no In and out option once you leave that its. So was screwed over by that. Then I had to pay the $34 to park my car per day YES I SAID PER DAY here I already paid an arm and a leg just to stay there and then they gouge you in parking your car. Which by the way is decent size but because they offer for business people to fly and park there it is always full people were parking in the no parking zones and in driving areas because there was no other place to park. The only reason I did not give this place a 1 star is because the pool and hot tub area is amazing. It was very nice and very relaxing atmosphere. You can also see my reviews on the restaurants there too. The JW Steakhouse and the Latitude 33 Lounge. If you plan on just leaving daily and then coming back and no leaving again for that day you can go to Marriottparking.com LAX and just reserve from the time you arrive to the time you leave it can be like $10 for self park vs. $34 but then once you leave do it again for that night as well. But it is very confusing because you have to go to the Valet ticket booth to pay and they are not the nices people since you parked your car yourself instead of having them do it. No one told me nothing I was so confused the first 2 days. Otherwise what you do is scan your room key to enter and exit out of the parking lot and from there your will get billed the 34 days a day. But either way I my wife an anyone I talk to about it I cannot recommend this hotel at all if you need to park a car. I am sorry Marriott I just can't.
