Het stadje Page (7000 inwoners) in het noorden van de staat Arizona ligt aan het prachtige Lake Powell met zijn vele canyons langs de oevers. Dit grote meer strekt zich uit tot over de grens met Utah.

"Lovely location with great views."

The room was very pleasant. The property is in a lovely location overlooking the lake and the views were great. There were nice walking paths. Food was also very satisfactory. I believe boat trips into the canyons are available and recommended and it is a short distance from the dam for a tour of the dam

"Great Place!"

We stayed in a Marina view room. It was fantastic! We had the patio out back to sit on and have coffee and enjoy the view. They are well kept and the beds were pretty comfortable. I didn't care for the pillows. They are half the length of a regular pillow so they were a little awkward. I loved that there was a safe for my purse and jewelry. It was also nice to have a few choices in restaurants within walking distance. There was even a little beach we were able to walk down to for a while. Bring lots of sunscreen! The pools were really nice too. They even had a bar at one of them.

"Great stay"

Wonderful. Spend the extra $20 and get the lake view. So worth it. Nice, clean rooms with balconies. Comfortable beds. Tiny bathroom but the sink is separate from the shower/toilet and that is nice for efficiency. The food at the resort is really expensive, so be prepared for that. We ate at the pool bar, pre-packaged sandwiches but it was fine. Starbucks and Keurig in the room (even hot chocolate for the kids!) but powdered creamer, which was odd, considering how upscale everything else is. We stayed one night and really regretted not allowing for two nights, there is so much to do at Lake Powell and in Page. Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon (one of the most incredible things we’ve ever seen--Dixie Ellis tours was fantastic). Boat tour from the marina right there at the resorts and kayaks, and other marina stuff to do Important to know: it gets light at 5am in Page. Really light. And there is a huge gap in next to the balcony blinds that cannot be covered so your room will be bright, especially if you are facing the lake. That said, it is so hot in Page that you should get up early anyway to do your adventuring outside of the lake before it gets hot and save your lake activities for the heat of the day.

"A pleasant stay"

Lake Powell Resort is a very nice resort on beautiful Lake Powell. The resort hotel has comfortable, well-appointed rooms and the amenities one would expect in a resort hotel. The resort is convenient to local "things to do" and a good stop when visiting tjis part of the country.

"Very Nice Place"

There is a national park entrance fee of $25 that you must pay before you are allowed on the resort. It lasts for 7 days. Late check in is no joke, they didn't let us in a minute before 4:00. Fair warning, it is so near the border of Utah that your cell phone will regularly change times without warning so if you need to make it at a certain time for a tour have the front desk give you a wake up call for AZ time. We enjoyed our stay at the resort. We met up with our friends and spent several nights there while experiencing the area. There are two pools and the hotel rooms are in five or six buildings, all with two floors. Parking is plentiful. We did not have an elevator in our building, only stairs. The buildings had vending machines and ice machines. The pools have an outdoor bar. The boat tours desk is in the lobby across from the check-in desk and the marina is a short walk down from the lobby. There are four or five restaurants on the grounds, a gift shop, a ranger station, a campground with laundry facilities, there are three stores--one at the campground, one at the south marina, and one on the west side of the resort--all items are marked up 300%, i.e. ever pay $6.95 for a gallon of water? There are two boat launch areas, perhaps more. There are two marina points, the south side one has a nice restaurant, small but with some outdoor seating on the dock. It took us a while to find the marina restaurant, Latitude 37, but the food was fantastic and the environment is drastically different from up on the hill by the main resort, so it was a fun change of pace. The rooms were clean. The shower heads are like pins and needles and not adjustable so I found it hard to enjoy a good shower, but that is my only complaint. The complementary coffee was excellent and the fridge worked. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing and different with every time of day with the change in light. The service staff were all friendly and helpful. There are trails that go all over the grounds, I enjoyed early morning runs and passed fearless hares feeding all around, we had the place to ourselves in the early hours. Boat tours are a good value also. Met people from all over the world here. Love this place.
