Over Pillar and Post Inn

"Great Getaway to Combine Theater and Spa Experience"
The Pillar and Post is a delightful walk to the Theaters, boutique shopping although complimentary car service is provided upon request. I love the pool and the spa facilities and have taken a room located near these facilities for the last 6 years. Food and service is excellent at the Pillar and Post and the we enjoy the meal package which we use at the Pillar Post and Queens Landing. I look forward to enjoying a week at the Pillar and Post as my wonderful escape from reality.
"Another Excellent Stay"
The Pillar and Post in Niagara on the Lake has been and will continue to be our “go to†place when we’re looking for a short getaway from the day to day. We have been visiting the Pillar and Post two to three times a year for many years and continue to go back because of the staff, facilities, food and tranquility of the resort. We live just one hour away but once we’re checked in and in relax mode it seems like a world away. Heavenly. Our most recent stay was a one night package to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and from the moment we arrived, greeted by Garrett and Megan at the front desk, until we departed we were treated like valued guests by the entire staff. Shane Howard and the entire staff are simply put TOP NOTCH and make us feel like family! We spent many hours during this visit lounging by the indoor pool, which is incredibly relaxing, and also frequented the spa lounge, outdoor hot spring, booked massage appointments and ordered room service. If you order room service and you’re a burger fan, we highly recommend the Blue Cheese Burger! Delicious!!!!! The room service was fast and the portion size generous. Another recommendation is the room location. We are big fans of the rooms above the spa area and especially rooms 250 or 350 which are convenient to the elevators and ice machines but not too close. They are very well appointed with Jacuzzi tub, modern shower and incredibly spacious room with gas fireplace, flat screen television and an extremely comfortable king size bed with plush mattress. The Pillar and Post is a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Niagara on the Lake and all the sights and sounds of this historic town. If you’ve never been to Niagara on the Lake we also recommend High Tea at the Prince of Wales hotel…a sister property to the Pillar and Post. It is decadent and delicious! Simply put, we love it here and can’t wait to return again!!! If you have any questions about this location, don’t hesitate to message me. Cheers!
"Nothing great this time"
Third visit usually we have a great time. But this time was different. One of the reasons we have came back to the pillar and Post is the hot tub and pool but this time after getting changed three times to go into the pool it was busy and all the seats were taken tried again in the morning and there was a senior aqua fit class going on so that was disappointing. Found out from other guests that locals can buy memberships to use the pool so that why it was so busy. The meal at the Cannery was ok Yorkshire pudding was as hard as a brick and everyone's was going back into the kitchen untouched. Breakfast buffet was very nice when I asked the guy who made the omelette if there was any oatmeal he said it's in the kitchen!!So needless to say it stayed in the kitchen.Going to try somewhere else next time I am at Niagara on the Lake.
"Best steak ever..."
The hotel was recommended to us by our b&b in the same area for somewhere extra special to have a meal, wished we were in the area longer as we would have loved to stay in the hotel. The meal and service was fabulous... Fell in love with Niagara on the Lake, we will return someday...
"A Two Day Escape"
A quiet two day break in warm comfortbale supproundings. Attentive but discrete staff and great food. Lounging around the hotel was a fine complement to walking tours through olfd Niagara-On-The-Lake.
