Over Heritage Harbour House Inn
Gratis 'home-cooked' ontbijt is inbegrepen.

The Harbour House is a quaint and well maintained. We stayed for one night prior to heading off to a conference. The team was responsive, friendly and very accommodating. A shout out to Stevie! Our room had a kitchenette with two burners, cupboards, cutlery, utensils and pots and pans. We even had a little balcony located right outside our room. The breakfast was made to order from four choices with fruit, toast, yogurt, juice and muffins. I ordered the Western sandwich and it was burnt (both the egg and the toast). I should have sent it back, but I was hungry and had to wait for some reason to get my meal when the other members of my party had theirs. I would recommend our room (#6), but you will be required to do the stairs. My only feedback would be that the common area outside had ashtrays where there was a gentleman smoking consistently for 30 minutes. As the area is a common area, please consider restricting smoking to each individual balcony. Thanks for a great stay!
"A beautiful place to stay"
We stayed at this grand inn for 6 nights in June, making it our base for our road trips around the island. The location can't be beat: a few short, walkable blocks to the city centre, as well as to the beautiful Victoria Park, the Lieutenant Governor's home, and the historic Beaconsfield House. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and gave us good advice on places to go, and restaurants in the area. The suite we stayed in was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette came in very handy. Breakfasts each morning offered choices to suit all ranges of dietary requirements. We can highly recommend the savory waffle, topped with spinach, sauteed onions, a cooked egg, and a splash of hollandaise. Yummy! We also really enjoyed the scrambled eggs, and the western sandwich. There was also a nice selection of fruit, yogurt, cereals and baked goods to tempt us. We would highly recommend this inn to travellers wishing a quiet location, with all of the amenities that you could possibly need!
"Great Location Inn"
Wonderful rooms, great location (walk to everything in downtown Ch'town). Quite a busy place (even early in June). Limited availability of gluten free breakfast options was our only disappointment. Good value.
"Wonderful. Just wonderful..."
I decided not to stay in a typical hotel on my first visit to Charlottetown. I wanted something with character and I found it! From the moment we arrived at The Harbour House I knew I'd made the right decision. We were made to feel most welcome. We stayed in the O'Brien suite (think room 10?) and it was lovely with a small kitchen and lounge area. Most spacious and had a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The only issue we had was there didn't appear to be an exhaust fan in the bathroom, which meant the bathroom remained humid and surfaces took some time to dry. Breakfast was lovely. The continental options were very good as were the hot items available (a la carte). The pumpkin bread french toast was delicious! A couple of work emails required attention while I was on vacation, and the HH had a computer and printer available for guest use which saved me a great deal of time. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality and service.
"A very classy place"
I reserved a room that had a small covered deck and a cooking surface as well as a refrigerator. Everything about the room and the whole building was first rate. The art on the walls was of high quality, the furnishings were modern and very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. As a cigar smoker on a rainy day, I especially appreciated the fact that there was an ashtray on the deck table and there were a couple of chairs there. I needed help parking and to figure out that the cooking surface was induction type, and the staff were very gracious in helping and very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, with four special menu choices in addition to the basics. The location was also excellent, just a few blocks from the city center but in a quiet area.
