Over Heritage Harbour House Inn
Gratis 'home-cooked' ontbijt is inbegrepen.

"A wonderful combination of a B&B and a traditional hotel"
This was our favorite venue of our ten-day driving tour of Maine, New Brunswick and PEI. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the location, while a bit of a walk to "downtown" was very nice, our room was large, airy and we had our own balcony! Plenty of parking for guests.
"Walking distance to everything!"
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Walked everywhere. Bed was comfy. Spacious room. We were on the top (3rd)floor. No elevator. That's fine for us. Did a load of laundry which was handy as we were near the end of our trip. I thought breakfast was very good. Gluten free choices! We also stayed at the Great George for 2 nights but was fully booked for the other 2 nights. The Harbour House is a great 2nd choice.
This is a lovely old house nicely renovated in a good location. There is a guest pay laundry which was most welcome half way through our trip. Breakfast was a disappointment. We stayed in many cheaper B & Bs with lovely full to order breakfasts but here we were restricted to 4 or 5 precooked dishes. My husband just wanted bacon and fried eggs but was told there was no bacon and only scrambled eggs. Most of the breakfast choices were based on an egg mixture so why was 2 fried eggs a problem unless they are using some pre-mixed egg product which is not acceptable in a 4 star establishment. Cereal and bakery choices were very limited. The other problem was that our bed had a closed in base with a metal corner and because of the tight entrance into the room we were constantly stubbing our toes and banging our shins. I still have the bruises! The bed itself was excellent and the bathroom and kitchenette spacious and clean and there is free parking.
"Nice well located B&B"
When we booked the Harbour House the room was described at modest. When we checked in, we were told that modest met a room in the oldest part of the house. It was on the 3rd floor and was just fine. The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. The House was very well located with an easy 5 minute walk to downtown. The breakfast provided about 5 different menu choices which was served hot and wait staff was especially attentive. It's popular and may be difficult to book on short notice.
"Nice accommodation with easy walk to the downtown"
This was a perfectly fine room in Charlottetown with an east walk to downtown. There seemed to be quite a few very similar places in the area. There are a series of large Victorians that have been converted to Inns. It has more of an inn/hotel feel than a B&B. There is a free breakfast served in the morning that is just OK. It's called a boutique hotel- not sure about that.
