"weekend conference in March"
I booked two Queen beds in a harbourview room, nice view, spacious. I arrived 1130pm St. Paddys, so the Pub was hopping with a band playing. The hall seemed a little messy, pizza box was in the hall for a day... and post March break, a juice box and dip cup got missed by cleaners but they were on window ledge. Staff were friendlyHotel common areas very modern and bright. The conference room was nice, with views of harbour. Room had fridge which I appreciated since I usually travel with food (vegetarian), but the fridge froze my soy milk and water. ( so did the last mini fridge at a DoubleTree) There was a classy restaurant with beautiful views, and a comfey pub with good veggie choices.
"East coast work trip"
Nice hotel and comfortable rooms. enjoyed a nice stroll along the board walk and was pleasantly surprised with the fitness centre. There was a pool available however I did not use it. Also, prices at the restaurant were pretty steep and the pub was closed for renovations when I stayed in February, so I had to leave the hotel for dinner each night.
Rooms are very nice ,very clean most with good views. Beds are nice and soft maybe 2 soft for some But clean just the same. I'll be honest the lobby area is not the nicest looking. But we don't sleep in it. Nice bar/lounge restaurant in lobby area Crown and Moose but a bit pricey for most items there. Shower is great, rooms are well equipped and they have good wifi internet.
"Good location, nice rooms"
I loved the view out of my room when I stayed here. I had a corner room with a view of the water. The room was clean, comfortable and great size. Staff were friendly and the hotel is nicely located on the waterfront. One issue I had was that my room had a circular window that didn't have blinds or curtain, so when the sun came up the room lit up and made it hard to sleep.
"Excellent customer service"
This is my 4th stay at this hotel in the past 3 years. Also stayed a few times when it was under the Delta brand. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and attentive to customer needs. On March 10, 2017, I checked out early AM, and about 15 minutes later, Air Canada advised my outbound flight had been cancelled and they had re-booked me on the next flight out. Problem is, I now had about 5+ hours to kill. Went back inside and the front counter representative (presumably the manager) never hesitated and allowed me back in the room for however long I needed it that day. I offered to pay a reasonable rate, but he insisted that was not necessary. He even offered to have maid services attend if required. I truly appreciated this above and beyond gesture, and will surely be staying there again on my next trip. That's what customer service is all about.
