"Harbour view"

Exceptionally long wait for room to be ready and allocated was a disappointing start to our stay there but we negotiated a preferential view (to see sunset rather than sunrise). The view from room was the highlight of our stay. The room itself was spacious and well laid out. The restaurant has a well deserved reputation for excellence, the evening meal we had proved this to be true. The one big disappointment was at breakfast, there was an extremely rude waitress who would shout at some who were having difficulty understanding her English. Other staff were fine. Unusual entrance to hotel via car park but well situated to access the town and marina area. Swimming pool, situated on the top floor, was clean and quiet and had excellent views across the river/lake. Tried to charge us $13 for 3 or 4 alternative tea bags delivered to room.

"Very good"

We spend the night , our room was very clean with a full kitchenette and all accessories were spotless clean. Nice size bathroom also clean. They also provide continental breakfast, but let me tell you, I was impressed from the normal bacon and eggs to a great selection of pastries, fresh fruits cold cuts and cereals. Really good.

"Good stop over "

Stayed here as a family group 2 kids 10 and 14. Clean room, small bit adequate pool and functional gym. Good views of waterfront and close to loads of good restaurants- would have rated 5 but for damp patch that appeared on the carpet after we turned off the aircon !

"Best property of its kind in Kingston"

The hotel was completely redone when Delta / Marriott came in a few years ago. The rooms are all well laid out, modern designs and amenities, clean and very quiet. The lobby is nicely lit, spacious and good staff. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast in the lobby restaurant was excellent. The parking lot is a bit tight, but not unusual for downtown, and the elevators are SLOW (also typical in Kingston for some reason), but this is a good spot and a well run property.

"Enjoyed our stay"

Not much to add to previous comments. The hotel and our room on the third floor facing west are modern, clean and bright. Shows well. Like the walk-in shower and all the plugs and ports. Comfortable bed. Agree that changing TV channels is a pain. We used the handicapped parking spaces so parking was convenient and easy but I agree that I would not want to have tried getting in and out of a lot of the spots. Long wait at times for one of the two elevators. Apparently they are also used for service for housekeeping and for delivery to the top floor meeting rooms. A special bonus for us was that the hotel had a block of tickets for the Kingston Penitentiary Tour. On Tuesday afternoon we were able to get two tickets for Thursday morning. The group we toured with spoke at great length about the trouble they had getting tickets. Excellent breakfasts and the one prixe fixe dinner we had in AquaTerra.
