"Thanks Peggy Cernick! You were great to work with - and your colleagues were awesome too!"
Great facility. Rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. Meals and breaks were terrific. Staff attended to our every need. I received many positive comments from our attendees and they want to come back next year!
"Nice, classic, hotel, priced too hogh"
This is one of the vintage hotel in Niagara-on-the-lake. It is a lovely, classic hotel. We were up-graded to a suite which was large and very clean. It had a large, high, poster bed had a large sofa , chairs and desk, but the bathroom was small, with a regular, jet bathtub and single sink. There was a large T.V. But you couldn't watch it from the bed. There was a pool and sauna which we didn't use. The view was obscured by a dry dock for sailboat. Location was good but preferred the Prince of Wales and the Pillar and Post.. We felt the price at over $585 a day was way too much money and will not stay there again. We did have a gift certificate which was the reason we were there in the first place.
"An Unforgettable Getaway on Niagara on the Lake"
Im a student visiting Toronto for a few months, and took advantage on a Canada Day sale , 2 nights and breakfast. I contact the staff via email with a few questions because I was traveling alone, and they answear very quickly with all the information I need. I arrived at the hotel at 12 pm , The first impression is like a dream , the weather was hot , the place was very peaceful and the vintage architecture of hotel very nice. My room was ready , and check in was smooth. I found The Bacchus Lounge open and decided to have a burger for lunch , I sit on one of the tables but because I was alone probably the staff tough I was waiting for somebody , so no waiter ask me If I need anything , but finally 15 minutes later I order my diet coke and the burger, wich by the way was veryy good. That night I sat on the bar and the service was much better. Im not sure if the hotel is not use to solo travelers The room was very nice , clean , large enough. The turndown service instead of chocolates or cookies includes a single rose. I loved the detailed, I came back to University with my roses. The breakfast buffet is amazing , plenty of choices of all kind. Love everything, the breakfast staff was very well trained and very polite. Take advantage of the complementary shuttle service between the 2 sister hotels , I booked and spa tratment and Mani - Pedi in Pilar and Post , and was very good. That hotel seems more couple or family fiendly, with and indoor and outdoor pool. Dont miss the local pastries and gelatos. Rent a bike and visited the wineries. Of course tha Shaw Festival is a must , I saw a musical and a play , and the quality of both was very good. Beware of the pool of the hotel , is an indoor pool but have a large window and doors that communicate with a litter garden I came outside to have a close look , and the door close behind me , You need the card look key of your room to open it againg , wich of course I left on the chair inside the pool area. So I was on my bikini lock outside with 2 options , wait for somebody or walk inside the hotel threw the door of a conference room that was unlock , Thank god somebody saw me I help me to open the door. So beware of that , solo travelers. I have a gorgeous time and hope to come back soon again
Each year our staff gets together in one central location to do team building before we enter into the new fiscal year. This year we chose Niagara-on-the-Lake, more specifically Queens Landing. I have never been to this location previously and I was excited for what was to come. Working with Katelyn Bernard on the agreements and specifications was perfect. She ensured that any details that we needed was in the agreement. Then I was passed on to Peggy Cernick, who I must say was fantastic! She ensured that everything we needed was done and ran smoothly. Any issues that I had or last minute changes she was more than accommodating. We have done this for a few years, but I must say the atmosphere at Queens Landing was absolutely perfect. The meeting space was done the way we requested without mishaps or delays. The food was fantastic and Eugene and his team worked hard on ensure that our program was done wonderfully. I must say that it was a pleasure working with this fine group of people and even better that we chose this location. The staff enjoyed every minute of us being there and the rooms were great! Thank you to everyone that made our time there enjoyable, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers to everyone we did not even know was involved. We truly had a great time and I cannot wait to visit again!
Classic Georgian hotel on beautiful property. Nicely appointed room, we got free upgrade to King bed. Pool and hot tub was a nice way to end the evening. Located < 5 minute walk, thru park to shops of NOTL.
