A two block walk to town! Lovely accommodations, quiet, excellent staff and a pleasant decor. Walking distance to the fort, wineries and the beautiful path along the river. Short drive to Niagara Falls. Wonderful to stay and explore this quaint town with interesting shops and wonderful restaurants.
"Happiest Day of my Life."
On Thanksgiving weekend we had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Queens Landing hotel and I couldn't have been happier. From the moment we booked our venue with them, the staff have been knowledgeable, helpful and fully available for all the details. Rikki Green was our appointed wedding co-ordinator and was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. She was also graciously present for my entire day there and helped everything to go smoothly. I so appreciate you Rikki; I know you did a lot of work that day and I am so grateful.
"Fairytale Wedding at Queen's Landing"
My husband and I had our wedding reception at Queen's Landing a couple of weeks ago, and it was a great experience. The service was top-notch, the food was delicious and our Event Manager Rikki helped us every step of the way. Throughout the planning process, Rikki was very quick to answer emails and telephone calls and was always super professional and very pleasant. She stayed until after dinner to make sure everything was running smoothly. This ended up being pretty late, as the speeches ran long. Our reception was held in the Imperial Ballroom, and it proved to be a great room for our smaller wedding of 65 guests. It was very elegant. We had access to the small outdoor space behind the head table as well as the lobby area directly outside the ballroom. This is where we had our cocktail hour, and we continued to use this space throughout the night. The "Ready" room was very large and a perfect spot for us and our wedding party to relax a bit before the official start of the reception. We were given a beautiful guest room which included a complimentary bottle of local sparkling wine. It was delicious. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. This is a perfect venue for a wedding or romantic getaway. Also, if you're using a professional photographer, this hotel has a lot of beautiful, hidden spots for a photo shoot. We are already making plans for our one year anniversary!
"Poor Service and food"
Nice looking hotel. Didn't seem to be staffed well enough for there to be 2 weddings that weekend. One person at the front desk on a Friday afternoon. Bellman offered to take our bags too late. Parking was close, that's good. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was spotty. Food was pretty unsatisfactory - I was unhappy with the food at the event so I quickly popped up to the front desk to get some room service delivered to the room before closing at 10:30. I was told by the gentlemen at the front not manning the front desk (Could have been a bellman) that I might as well go down to the lounge and order it myself since all they're going to do is call down themselves. I was quite shocked by the response since most people working in the service industry would have been happy to execute my request. I didn't want to miss out on any valuable time with friends and family. He proceeded to ask me what room number I was in to which I responded that I had forgotten. He snickered and said, "well you might need that now won't you." Suffice it to say I was not appreciative of the smart aleck comment. The lady at the front desk helped me look it up but I was very confused as to who this gentleman was who kept on interjecting into our conversation. I was very put off and disappointed by the conversation. We travel quite a bit and this had to be the worst impression made in recent years. Chicken (room service & lounge) EXTREMELY overcooked. I let the waitress know and she was very gracious. Menus were pretty limited. Maids were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the flower during turn down service. Event space was beautiful and had adequate bathrooms.
"Brunch Fit For a Queen"
What a Regal place to visit, though you are not made to feel as a commoner. We did not have reservations, though the area for brunch was full we were shown to another area to enjoy our brunch. In fact, the lounge was private and quiet. The service was excellent.
