"Dinner at the Queen's Landing"

Our meal was excellent and our waitress Rose was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The view of the marina, even covered in snow and ice was nice and you can only dream of the summer and spending an afternoon on the patio. The lobby is worth the visit with the air full of the smwll of the many rose bouquets.

"NEVER Again!"

I took a pause before writing this review as I wanted to make sure I was not over reacting... Clearly I still feel like it was a horrible experience. I have to say that our friends and I did enjoy our weekend away at the Ice Wine Festival which was a lot of fun, we just won’t be staying at the Queen’s Landing again. After checking out a few local wineries we checked into the hotel. For a vintage hotel the room was cozy although the fireplace did not work and DON’T pay for a water-view room as you really only see a parking lot and then the river in the distance. We headed down to the Bacchus Lounge in the hotel before dinner which was virtually empty. That being said, the server treated us like we were an inconvenience to his social time with his colleagues and he was annoyed when we would call him over to order more drinks. Our dinner reservations at Tiara Restaurant were for 7:00 and when we arrived the restaurant was empty. We thought beating the rush was great, as we wanted to head to the evening Ice Wine Festival activities which were from 9-11... sadly we didn’t make it. I want to start by saying that our server was the star of the show as although the Kitchen was a disaster, she tried to keep us happy for the 4.... yes that’s right, the FOUR hours it took for our three course meal of which we brought dessert so the kitchen staff only needed to prepare 2 courses.... just saying! The only appetizer that came out as any good chef would accept, was he beet salad as it was meant to be served cold.... the Octopus was burnt black, the escargot were cold and the Cesar salad was under dressed. But after waiting an hour and a half for these appetizers we dared not send them back for fear they would be served with our dinner. So instead we just ordered another bottle of wine and looked forward to our main courses. Another hour and a half later when our mains did arrive we were not only disappointed about our meals but by now it was too late to attend the Festival which was doubly disappointing. All four Signature Rib Steaks that were ordered medium rare ALL arrived well done! The Risotto was like paste and the gnocchi were under cooked so were like eating raw dough. At this point we were all grateful we had brought our own birthday cake as we could not have endured another course for fear of what could possibly go wrong. For a meal that for weeks I had been looking forward to, I am sad to say that if I described it as underwhelming that would be generous. The icing on the cake was waking up the next morning and having ICE COLD showers!! Ironically one of our friends received a $50 credit when they mentioned it, another couple $25, but by the time we checked out we got a “so sorry about that”... I guess they had already reached their credit quota for the day.

"Simply a perfect stay."

Just celebrated my birthday at this wonderful hotel. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. The Front Office Manager/ Chef Concierge Matt Sutherland is an absolute gem. From start to finish he supported my celebration weekend by not only ensuring our stay was exceptional he also supported my daughter in securing a wonderful location for our diner with his connections of the wineries in this legendary part of our country. Thank you Matt, for the rose with the information for church in the morning. Totally unexpected and a wonderful touch which made me very happy. It was a memorable 80th birthday. Thank you Queen's Landing.

"Comfortable stay in a beautiful hotel"

Lovely hotel with a welcoming lobby and great staff. Room was spacious. I had dinner at the Tiara and was very happy when they gave us a table facing the window. There was a convenient car service with their partner hotels which we used in Aug 2017. There was turn down service and we had a rose which was a surprise touch. Maybe this is only during summer? A 10-15min walk to the main town area. Would love to stay again!

"Comfy Beds - Great Location"

We have stayed at the sister resort Pillar & Post before but I have to say after staying at Queen's Landing we have found a new favorite place at Niagara on the Lake. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was super comfy. Really one of the better nights sleep both my husband and I have had in a hotel. We enjoyed putting on our robes and going down to the pool, sauna and hot tub. They also have a great coffee station set up outside the pool area with coffee and tea. However, if you prefer to stay in your room for coffee in the morning, there is a personal sized Keurig with K-Cups provided. Walking distance to all of the bars and shops downtown and a great view of the marina.
