Over Hotel Manoir Victoria

"Great stay. Great location. Great people"
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Manoir Victoria. From the location, to the rooms, to the front desk and the valet parkers! Even the coffee shop was something special. You can't go wrong when you choose this place.
"Great location, and the desk staff are fantastic."
The hotel is located inside the city walls, just around the corner from Rue Saint Jean which is full of restaurants and shops and the D'Youville Square ice skating rink. It is easy walking distance to everything inside the walls as well as the Saint Roch and Saint Jean-Baptiste neighborhoods. The hotel itself is very well appointed. The entrance is fairly unassuming, followed by a long flight of stairs, no visible elevator (not sure what the provision for the handicapped is), to the lobby desk. Luckily, the door staff brought our luggage up to our room so we didn't have to schlep it up those stairs. The desk staff were very nice and helpful, made reservations for us, waited patiently while I worked up my nephews courage to ask where the pool was in French (and then were super congratulatory when he did it). However, there is plenty of signage in both English and French to point you to what you're looking for. Our Superior Queen room with two beds was very well-appointed and big with plenty of room for the four of us and all our stuff (though, according to the fire map, our room was one of the smallest so I'd be interested to see the others). Very clean, comfortable beds, double showerhead and a tub. We were on the fifth floor, facing Rue Saint Jean, all we could really see were rooftops, but it was quiet. The kids loved the pool. The WiFi was fast. My only quibble is that there is a sign that says if you want your towels washed every day put them in the tub, otherwise they will fold them up so you can reuse them. There were four of us and the room is designed for four people, but in the bathroom there are only three hooks. I'd have been happy to reuse, but I would want to know that I was getting the towel I had used. So my suggestion is more hooks in the bathroom. The whole experience was very nice, we stayed a week and had no problems. I think the helpfulness and friendliness of the front desk staff was the best part.
"Great Hotel for the Family"
Stayed here with my children and in-laws between Christmas and New Year 2017. WAY FLIPPING COLD - but the staff were warm and the rooms were comfortable (and warm too). The hotel is located near many nice eateries and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
"Great location in Quebec City"
For our first visit to Quebec City, Hotel Manoir Victoria left a great impression. It is centrally located with easy access to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. One negative was the blow dryer that was available was the old style, installed to the wall in an otherwise updated room. Staff was very friendly and assists with luggage and parking upon arrival. There is a set of stairs as soon as you enter the front door and I don't believe there is an elevator so this may pose problems for people with mobility issues. We only stayed for one night but I would definitely return to this property in the future.
"Nice hotel. Lovely staff."
The room was spacious, warm and it had a wonderful jacuzzi bathtub. The restaurant is highly reviewed and we had dinner there. It was good and features local cuisine and a thoughtful menu. The staff is gracious and the cafe has wonderful pastries, coffee, and light lunch selections.
