"This place is les perfect."
Everything about this place makes me happy. The lobby smells like heaven. The rooms are clean and we had our own little kitchen! We got upgraded. We brought our dog and he snoozed REAL good. The hot tub was fun, the pool was cold, it snowed the whole time and I just loved it. Can't wait to come back. Also, the texting service was a nice touch! Thanks for enjoying my Dad jokes.
My husband and I stayed here with our big furry pup last July and were pleasantly surprised by how charming and cozy this hotel was. Very dog friendly which is much appreciated (treats etc waiting for him in the room), funky little ugly dolls on the beds added a fun touch. Clean and modern rooms. Quite small, though...I wouldn’t recommend for a family stay as the room was quite tight. Love the “rent-a-fish†program for single guests or guests who have children. The candy in the lobby is a tasty touch, too. The hotel has friendly staff and is in a handy location within the Village. I would definitely come back.
"Whistler get away with the dog"
Great little boutique hotel in fabulous location. Adorable welcome package for our dog including bowls, treats and a toy. Room was cozy & well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and not much noise if you close the windows. Very friendly staff who obviously love having dogs come to stay. The free coffee machine in the lobby makes really good hot coffee too! Would recommend this place fir sure.
"Funky Hotel in the Heart of the Village that is Pet Friendly!"
We stayed overnight as a mini-getaway for our wedding anniversary. We brought our dog with us, and were pleasantly surprised at how dog-friendly the hotel is. We arrived a bit early, but were able to check in with a minimal wait to get our bags out of the car so we could get out for a hike. When we got to the room, we were impressed by the spacious, modern room with fun decor, and by a handwritten note and a bottle of wine (for our anniversary), as well as a welcome package for our dog--a towel, dog treats, doggie bags, a small squeaky toy and a doggy bowl to use during our stay. The room was very clean. The parking underground was reasonable at $20 per night. We spent a bit of time by the pool and hot tub, too (smaller, but nice!). We loved our stay in this great hotel and we will be back again soon!
I was expecting this hotel to be wonderful based off of all the reviews I read but found it didn't meet expectations. The staff here is incredibly friendly! The carpeting in the hallway is really loud and made me a little bit sick as we walked on it since it felt like it was moving. The room itself was nice. One thing to be aware of is that there are tons of items placed in the room that you could get charged for. The kitchen lacked some of the common cooking utensils you would need to cook. For example, there was no spatula so it made making burgers, pancakes, and eggs very difficult. The pans are non-stick and no matter how much oil we used in the pans we still ran into issues with food sticking on the pan making the pans really difficult to clean. Also, the pot size they give you is too small to make spaghetti unless you break the noodles in half. The hotel was great with their recycling practices and the soap dispensers in the shower. I just wish the shampoo wasn't cilantro flavor. This hotel was focused on giving you a good night sleep but there was a lot of light coming off of the clocks in the room as well as the light of the a/c which was located directly next to the bed. Perhaps the most annoying thing was that the curtains were directly over the a/c. So if you used the a/c the air just went up into the curtains and blew them around. In order to get the air into the room and create a dark sleeping environment, you had to take a heavy object to hold them back. You also had to maneuver the curtains in such a way that you could obscure the bright light that is on the a/c, otherwise it shined right in your eyes all night. This hotel was in walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants, and the grocery shops making it a convent place to stay.
