"Comfortable and centrally located"

As former residents of Noosa, we'd learned to avoid Hastings Street as a tourist trap with inflated prices. But ... we decided we'd like to experience life in that environment for a few days, and chose the Sebel as our base. Our room was excellent - spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. If we'd wanted to spend our whole stay in Hastings Street, everything we'd have needed was on the doorstep. Staff were cheerful and helpful, and we had no noise problems (but then we didn't overlook the pool, and at this time of year there wouldn't be too many water enthusiasts to make a noise at night). Only improvement I'd suggest is - make the parking bays a bit wider. It can be a challenge to squeeze between cars parked a few centimetres from each other without impaling one's stomach on a wing mirror. (That's probably not a practical change because there are frequent pillars between which parking bays are marked out; but I didn't notice any wider bays for guests who might have restricted mobility).

"Great location, but short on dining and bar facilities"

This hotel is in a great location, right on Hastings street, the pool is beautiful, but can be a bit noisy if your room faces onto the pool area. The one bedroom apartment we had was beautifully decorated, we had a serious problem with housekeeping but was quickly resolved. The fact that the reception area is in a seperate building to the accommodation is a bit of a nuisance, particularly if it’s raining. The lack of a dining room and bar is disappointing, but considering the surrounding restaurants and bars it wasn’t a problem. Apart from this I would definitely stay there again.

"Central location in the heart of Noosa"

Stayed as 2 couples over the weekend for 4 nights during end of May. The weather was low to mid 20's that was warm enough for beach swimming and sunbathing. The Sebel Noosa it situated between Noosa Parade and Hastings Street, right in the middle of all the action. In terms of location, you can't ask for anything better. Hastings Street with all its shops and restaurants, plus walkthrough access to the main beach is in easy reach. Even the Noosa National Park is about 2km walk to the start and is a must see attraction to do the Coastal Walk. One of the most frustrating things with Noosa is finding a car park. So was great to know we had an undercover car park. But as we were so central, only ever drove when going to the outer shopping centres. The resort itself consists of Sebel style, fully contained apartments. We stayed in a Deluxe 2-Bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor, overlooking the central pool. Each bedroom has its own bathroom ensuite. An oversized balcony and open living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped plus our own laundry for added convenience. The resort grounds are very nice but are tightly packed. The central swimming pool is at the heart of the resort. Despite being small, we never felt over crowded or never were not able to find sun lounges during our stay. In another block, there was a children's pool (which was closed under construction), spa and BBQ area. There was also a modest gym in the basement carpark which served its purpose. The resort also had bicycles available for hire. The staff at The Sebel Noosa were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Peyton, Reservation Supervisor, went over and above to make us feel welcome and accommodating. Truly grateful. Our friends were amazed at the level of service we received and the high standard set across The Sebel and Accor Group of hotels. Thanks again!

We stayed 6 nights. Good location, dreadful design of building as there is a central area with rooms on three levels surrounding it so hence the noise from tiny little swimming pools is awful and it isn’t worth having the door open if people are using the pool below. Thankfully not many people staying and we didn’t have to put up with what I imagine would be unbearable noise emanating from the pools when it is the middle of summer. Trying to negotiate the three security gates between different areas is a pain as they are very heavy and if you have your hands full it doesn’t make for an easy exercise. The room smelt dusty and moldy every time we entered it. The lounge room curtain was falling off one end and look very shabby. We bought a few supplies in for breakfast so got a surprise to find only 1 fork and 2 knives in the draw. Doesn’t housekeeping do a check for this sort of thing? Also thought housekeeping would empty the dishwasher and put things back in cupboards as they do in other hotels. The room apart from above was adequate but I won’t be staying here again. Not up to the level it should be and there are plenty of other places to stay around the area.

"Great location and service "

We stayed here for 4 nights and were genuinely happy with both the location and service at The Sebel. The reception handled our queries very promptly and provided excellent customer service. The room was very clean and although we had a few maintenance issues during our stay they were fixed quickly and efficiently. The only thing we thought could be improved was the bed as it was very soft, although this is a personal preference. The design of the buildings allow for noise to easily carry up the stairwell amplifying noise when people enter and depart from their rooms. This was particularly noticeable at night. The hotel had wireless but only 1 hour free per day if you weren't an Accor member. The internet wasn't very fast which is surprising these days. We would recommend staying here especially as you have a kitchenette and lounge room as part of your room providing much more space than a standard hotel room.
