"Not so good"
We checked in for only one night but that was enough. They put us on the gold floor but the room was located where the elevator cables are and it made a racket. we asked to be moved and they did move us. We had the seafood buffet, the service was very good but the buffet was so-so . Our reservation was for 8:30 pm maybe that had something to do with it. The worst part of the experience was the parking . I was shocked at how rude and lazy these guys were! No help with our luggage they just didn't seem to like their job. I was at the Fairmount Chateau Laurier the week before and give that experience 5 stars.
"American Thanksgiving, Fairmont Tremblant style!!!"
WOW! As an American living in Quebec, around the third week in November I always get nostalgic with American Thanksgiving on its way. For the last few years now, my Canadian husband and I have started a tradition of going away to the Mont Tremblant Fairmont for this Holiday even though Canadian Thanksgiving is long gone. We enjoy watching the three football games, ordering incredible tasty room service, taking a dip in the toasty hot tub between football games and just taking in the scenery in an incredible beautiful setting. I had mentioned in my web reservation that we would love a room at the end of the hall (in order to avoid noise). We were given a lovely room at the very end, with windows on two walls, looking towards the mountain as well as towards the Lake. We could see the entire length of this grand hotel and its beckoning pool and hot tub area. It was 4 days and 3 nights of total bliss. With a wonderful Sushi and Seafood buffet to crown our stay on the Saturday night, we feasted on the largest and tastiest King Crab legs I have ever seen in my life. The Windigo Restaurant is a locals fave and we saw many people not staying at the hotel, eating supper here. Once you savor this buffet once, you understand why people (us included), keep coming back. The staff here makes us feel like family. The kind and hard-working housekeepers, the doormen, the Front Desk staff, the pool gang, the F&B staff, every last one of them always had a smile and something nice to say to us. In management they say that employees treat guests as they are treated, when visiting this Hotel, one can grasp a little of the corporate culture that thrives throughout. The hotel General Manager is surely a leader with heart. Bravo! Anyone anywhere NEAR contemplating coming here.... GO FOR IT! You will NOT be disappointed! Memories for a life-time!!!
"Fantastic Return Trip"
We recently went back to Fairmont Tremblant to enjoy opening ski weekend. This hotel rolls out the red carpet for every guest and makes you feel like a million bucks. We arrived and used their valet service. We stayed in room 632 (Pet-free floor, Fairmont King Room) which has a great view of the lake and the village below, and even the Gondola. The hotel is classicly decorated and certainly not a modern decor but that's what's nice about it. We had massages at Amerispa and enjoyed the pools and hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor). We were there celebrating an anniversary and the staff sent up their signature chocolate covered strawberries (What a wonderful touch available!) We had dinner in the lounge and the service there was great and the atmosphere lovely with a view of the village and hot tubs and pools. We enjoyed breakfast at the Windigo and they have a great spread for breakfast there! Enjoyed every minute of our short stay - can't wait to go back! v
"Super busy during ski seasons "
We visit Fairmont Tremblant multiple times every year. It is also worth visiting in summer as well. It is super busy during the ski season - the elevator takes forever! Usually you can get a pretty good deal if you book early; this means if you book only few days before it can be quite pricy.
Excellent place to stay with at Fairmont Tremblant..We had a great experience there during our stay, the staff, the foods, our suite are wonderful and great. We will be forever thankful for all there effort..We will come back again!
