"First Try at Radisson & Will Never Stay Again"
Paid $254 for my room for 1 night, booked through Expedia. Once I arrived, I was told that I had to pay $20 for parking. I asked that the charge be waived because this charge was not indicated upon reservation or receipt of reservation. The clerk spoke with the manager she declined. I then asked to speak with the manger, Alex, who was extremely flat, and even rude. She reflected no signs of customer service skill. I was extremely disappointed, as I have never been faced with such poor service. She advised that the fee was on the expedia site. I checked, and it was not. I checked my confirmation, and found no mention of the fee there as well. Next, I was advised that if i did not return my room keys that my deposit would not be refunded. This is unheard of?!?! I have never stayed at any hotel, the Hilton, Westin, or Hyatt, where I was told that I must return a room key. Then, after arriving to my room; although it appeared clean, the room showed clear signs of wear, the air conditioner vents were gross, hair in one of my towels, and the elevator was not only a hot box, but dirty, and musty. It was far from being a $254 experience. Lastly, upon check-out, I had make sure the clerk accepted my room keys as he did not seem concerned. When I told him that I was instructed to give them back or lose my $200 deposit, he looked surprised and puzzled. Quickly, the same manager, Alex who refused to waive my $20 fee, interjected into the conversation, "yes, she has to return the key!!" Again, rude, as she was the night before. Alex, should not be a manger at this hotel; maybe the Super 8, or even Denny's, but not the Raddison. She clearly lacks the skills to work with customers, or even, dare I say, MINORITY customers, as I observed her working with several white customers, smiling, and showing them the utmost customer service. Why was I not shown the same hospitality? Was it because I asked for a fee to be waived or was it because I was not white? Either way, I would not give the Radisson my money ever again, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this horrid experience.
"unforgettable fallsview! "
A little bit old facility and no breakfast included, but i think this one photo should explain all the reason you need to choose this hotel :) it's also close to the incline station, and the staffs are kind and welcoming.
We finally used some of our points for this location. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded. Very impressed with the staff & even more with our room. We were not expecting to have any view & had a large corner room (1532) with both a view of the city & a view of the Niagara River. The beds were great, the room was updated (versus other Niagara Falls hotels nearby), it was quiet for sleeping, valet parking was helpful & we were more than pleased & happy. Great Job everyone!
"I had to pinch myself"
The whirlpool room at this hotel is not only value for money, but honestly the best view of the most important part of our 6 week holiday. The room, clean and bed comfortable. Incline railway so close and the restaurants close by, yummy.
"View was only great thing."
Mixed feelings about location. View of falls from my room very nice. Long walk up and down hill to get to river. Immediate area around over priced restaurant and unfriendly servers. Strange steak hamburger taste and too salty at Tony romas. Parking 20 dollars plus tax per day. No ice machine on my floor. Next floor up out of service. 2 floors up finally found one.
